      Cs are back home after that loss in Chicago to face the Blazers. We welcome back Jrue Holiday and Rob Williams. Jrue holds a very special place in my heart and all Celtics fans. He was a huge part in us winning Banner 18. One heck of a defender and overall great player. No matter where he's been, the way he plays is elite. He has been on two NBA championship teams, the Bucks and Celtics. One of my all time favorite players. Rob also holds a special spot for me given how well he played for us and was almost part of a title team.       Cs are looking solid on both ends of the floor. As they should given they are back home. No excuses for them not to win! Too many missed threes up to this point. Cs with a solid lead but Joe wants a timeout and it is needed. Time to get the guys refocused and ready to finish this quarter the right way. I'd really like to see the Cs push their lead as the second seed. I know it's not a big lead now but it could matter...

      Cs are in Brooklyn looking for a win despite being shorthanded. There are plenty of Celtics fans here in Brooklyn. Sam opens up the scoring from three tonight. Baylor follows up with his own three. Great job by Queta going after the miss and earning the C's an extra possession. PP scores to make that Queta hustle play worth while. Cs ball movement has been excellent so far. Cs have let up too many easy shots to the Nets. Cs have lost their early lead as we have a timeout on the floor.      JB has been off so far tonight, hopefully going to the line will get him going. And... he misses the first. Cs have been underwhelming to this point. Simons hits the three and things may be looking up. It would be nice if the Cs can go on a run here. Finish this first quarter the right way!       Our Cs are home to play those pesky Pacers who have always given the Cs fits. I mean I remember the 90s when they gave the Big 3 fits yet we always found a way to win. The Truth had his moments with the Pacers. Historically there have been some really good matchups with these two teams. Larry Bird played for the Celtics and coached the Pacers. Larry damn near lead them to a title as Coach. The Pacers have always been right on the cusp. Yet have never tasted winning it all in the NBA. Here's hoping the Cs can handle their business and send em back to Indy with another loss.       Sam hits the first shot for the Cs and its a three! I'm really hoping that Derrick White can get his offense going tonight. He's just been completely off lately and it makes no logical sense to me.       Jaylen Brown has been balling in this game, I mean it's no surprise given he's back home. He's truly playing at an MVP level this season. Imagine how good we will be once JT comes back?! I wouldn't make any moves unless we can bring someone in thru the buyout market. The Cs team chemistry has been something to behold. You can't knock chemistry especially when guys believe in one another. All these guys have accepted the challenge this season and are succeeding.       Anfernee Simons named after Penny Hardaway has been elite off the bench. This kid has shown me a ton and I wasn't that pleased when we got rid of Jrue for him. Thankfully this young man has shown he can play and do it in Boston. Cs have crashing the boards really well tonight. Offensively they have been elite and are cooking up some Hawk for dinner. Sam Hauser has been an assassin here in the first half.         Tonight is the night, game one for our beloved Boston Celtics. We have some core pieces here but there are some who have moved on. I'm going to miss Al, Luke, Jrue, and Kristaps. They were all part of Banner 18 and I'll never forget them. Yet we do welcome some brand new pieces to our chess board and I believe they will have a positive impact this season. Not sure what direction I'm going to take this season in my writing but I plan on being my authentic self.        🏀 First quarter 🍀      Here we go! The Celtics starting lineup consists of JB, DWhite, Sam, Payton, and The Pride of Portugal. We really need this group to come out firing! Defensively we have to see what Queta can do vs the big baby Embid. Queta scores on the Celtics first possession of the season. Excellent pass from DWhite leading Queta to the basket. Cs are making an effort to get to the paint. DWhite seems to be locked in on all fronts.    ...

      While only playing in the first half JB managed to score 21 points. This season he's going to probably put up a career average in points per game since JT is injured. What we need him to do is take a step forward and be a facilitator as well. We all know he can rebound and play some epic D. I think with him at the helm we may see a tough brand of basketball. In regards to stats DWhite was his all around self scoring 16 and adding 3 rebounds and 10 assists. Newcomer Chris Boucher added 11 and 4. I like what be brings to the team. Baylor had 13 and another newbie Garza had 10. In regards to new players I want to see where Simon's fits in.       What I saw last night are guys who will bang and give effort. Hugo showed me he has heart and if he plays like that Celtics fans will love him. I really feel that there is some ability on this team to be competitive.  Count me as a devoted fan of Fantasy Basketball . The real world has not been uplifting lately, so sojourns into the fantasy world are welcome . Yahoo's Fantasy rankings this season, however, do not bode well for the Boston Celtics chances of success. Here are the top-5 Celtics: #23: Jaylen Brown #46: Derrick White #81: Anfernee Simons #95: Payton Pritchard #238: Sam Hauser With Brown at #23, that means he probably gets drafted towards the end of the second round - which I did in a mock draft.. White makes sense at #46 since many expect him to start once again and to take on a bigger load . Derrick is a player I may stretch for in a real draft. Simons beat out Pritchard , but the former may prove to be too much of a defensive liability . Pritchard was drafted early in my mock draft. I expect him to (at least) increase his production this season, whether he starts or not. Then it's a stretch for Hauser at #238 . I expected him to be ranked a bit higher .         First half was a showcase of two teams who have played a number of games vs each other. Derrick White and Jaylen Brown carried this group offensively. I have always loved Derrick and he was on his game. JB is putting it together on both ends of the floor, thats what you want from your stars. Very Jordan like challenging the opposition on defense. KP still doesn't have what it takes to be out on the floor. His illness has ruined any chance of him being effective. Personally I despise each and every player on the Knicks roster. They are nothing more than babies and dirty players.       This third quarter has shown JB to be an elite defender. He's been hounding Brunson who seems gassed. What an absolute bum Brunson is. Dude never stops crying to the officials. Derrick White has given it everything he has here in the third. That dive into the bench by Brown shows how much heart and love he has for the Celtics.       Cs must come out tonight and establish their dominance over the Knicks yet again. It all starts on defense which should lead to good offense. I fully expect the Celtics to tie this series up as we head home for Boston on Wednesday night. Cs open up with the first five points. Great ball movement leads to a DWhite three! JT finds DWhite for another three! Cs offense is starting to hum! Timeout by the Knicks and this lead could grow even more for the Cs. Cs need to continue to dig in on defense.       Cs finish the first with a flurry of threes! That's how you finish a quarter! Now let's see that lead double as we enter the second. Overall you have to be pleased with the Celtics offense there. They moved the ball well and hit their shots. I was extremely impressed with their defense at points.  🍀       The regular season marches on or in my opinion mushes along. It's gonna be a long night watching Brunson flop all over the court tonight. I don't like watching him play the game I love. KAT is another guy I don't care to watch. To be honest this entire Knicks roster can go kick rocks. I'm surprised the Cs are resting guys today. I sure hope they do tomorrow night.         Cs look to continue to dominate this inadequate Knicks team. KP looks like he was in an epic fight. I love everything KP brings to being a Celtic. KP gets us on the board as he scores over KAT. KAT is a defensive liability and honestly plays with no effort on D. DWhite with an early Tommy point and earns the Cs another possession. Cs are looking very elite with their passing early on. Luke Kornet is an absolute beast! Which is why he's a big dawg! I absolutely love Luke Kornet. He's such a solid big that compliments this team so very well.        These Wizards have come to play despite being a dumpster fire of a team. How can a team be so bad?! I guess it has to do with being poorly constructed and coached. I really feel the NBA needs to move some teams from where they are. Wizards could definitely be one of those teams. Send em to Las Vegas or Seattle. A once proud franchise has become a joke in the NBA. It looks like most of the Cs should be playing tonight. Cs are going to be epic come playoff time with their three headed monster in the post. KP, Al, and Luke are all playing elite basketball. 🏀       The Celtics have been sold for a huge number to a group led by William Chisholm. The question is will he be able to keep this team together? Sadly I don't see it happening, or at least that's what I'm hearing. Cs have clinched a playoff spot and have won fifty games yet again. Not too shabby. They only trail the Thunder and Cavs record wise.        Good seeing Max aka Cornbread in that lottery commercial. One of the most talented and impacful Celtics of all time. Tonight against the Raptors and  tomorrow in Detroit. We all know who is on tap Friday night. It's the Cavs, who I believe are extremely overrated. C's are 2-1 against the Cavs this season. Honestly it should be 3-0. I guarantee we will see the Celtics best game of the season Friday night.        Last time we faced the Raptors here in Toronto we lost. It was a garbage less then and it still feels that way now. Tonight needs to be the C's going out here and wiping the floor with them. It's time to make the Raptors extinct. It still boggles my mind this franchise has an NBA title. While plenty of other deserving franchises don't.
