Cs are back home after that loss in Chicago to face the Blazers. We welcome back Jrue Holiday and Rob Williams. Jrue holds a very special place in my heart and all Celtics fans. He was a huge part in us winning Banner 18. One heck of a defender and overall great player. No matter where he's been, the way he plays is elite. He has been on two NBA championship teams, the Bucks and Celtics. One of my all time favorite players. Rob also holds a special spot for me given how well he played for us and was almost part of a title team.

Cs are looking solid on both ends of the floor. As they should given they are back home. No excuses for them not to win! Too many missed threes up to this point. Cs with a solid lead but Joe wants a timeout and it is needed. Time to get the guys refocused and ready to finish this quarter the right way. I'd really like to see the Cs push their lead as the second seed. I know it's not a big lead now but it could matter come playoffs. It's so good to see Jrue and Rob just wish they were wearing the right colors. Yet money plays a roll in everything.

Cs have exerted their will and are rolling here. I'm not surprised and I wish they had played this way in Postland. That's one of those losses that you look back and say damn. Too many of those losses this season yet they are still a top team in the NBA. Jrue looks good tonight! Hopefully he's showing Billionaire Bill that it's your loss for trading me over money. I get emotionally attached to players and what they bring to the Cs. So when they leave or get traded it hurts. Hauser he's been off tonight which sucks because he's been excellent lately.

How about those Patriots!!! AFC Champs! What a ride it's been imagine of they can pull this off?! Mike Vrabel has been incredible as Coach and those players are awesome. Defensively they are a force! Offensively they have been solid. The national media like the Seahawks but slow your roll. My heart is with the Patriots! Expect this season to end on a high note! How fitting would it be for the Pats to win number seven given its Superbowl 60... Poetic I'd sat!

Amari Williams has shown he could be special. He's going to end up being a nice rotational piece. Kid I'd athletic and can get after it. Brad does it again! Cs have several guys in double figures showing how deep this team is. Anyone else get the feels during the Jrue Holiday tribute video. What an absolutely incredible basketball player and good person. Despite only playing two seasons for us his impact hangs in the rafters.

Overall I was pleased with everyone last night and the fact JB only needed to score 20 was sweet. This team and I mean team is well rounded and plays on both sides of the ball. We have a good one folks who could make a Patriot like run to the Finals for Banner 19. Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
