 We knew it was coming. The Charlotte Hornets have started their rebuild, and former-Celtic, Terry Rozier, is reportedly heading to the Miami Heat for Kyle Lowry and a 2027 first-round pick . The Hornets rank 13th in the Eastern Conference standings - with a 10-31 record - and are going nowhere. Terry should strengthen the 24-19 Heat (6th in East) as Charlotte transitions into tanking mode.  Celticvs coach, Joe Mazzulla went back to his 2-big starting lineup for the final two games in the East Semis agains Philadelphia, both wins for Boston. Expect the same when the Celtics take on the Miami Heat for Game-1 of the East Finals on Wednesday. Miami doesn't generally put a big lineup out there, but Kevin Love has been starting games alongside Bam Adebayo . Love has not been playing large minutes, but his r ebounding remains solid, and his outlet passes remain some of the best in the business. But it is Jimmy Butler that does everything for the Heat - everything but shoot (and hit) a lot of 3-pointers. He leads his team in points, assists and steals and does a lot of his damage close to the rim .  Part of Rob Williams job will be to keep rebounds out of the hands of both Kevin and Bam -and also Butler who averages 6.6 rebounds per game thus far in the post-season. Last night's game was winnable for the Boston Celtics. They came within a point of the Heat (93-92) with 2:20 to go in the game, but eventually lost Game 3 109-103. The turnovers (23 to Miami's 8) and the Heat's steals (19 to Boston's 2) played a large role, but the Celtics players and their coach seemed perplexed as to what took place ( per NBA.com's Steve Aschburner ): The question to Boston was, how could the players and coaches possibly let that (loss) happen? Kyle Lowry is 34 years old on the last year of his contract in Toronto. He’s a bulldog. He’s a leader. He’s a different version of Marcus Smart. Lowry also may be exactly what the Boston Celtics are missing: a point guard who doesn’t always need the ball in his hands to be effective.  Compare usage rates: Lowry 21% vs Kemba 29% Yes Kemba is having a serious off year. Do I believe that he will figure it out? Absolutely. But it still doesn’t change the equation: Kemba Walker isn’t the missing piece to a title. Given his size it’s obvious that he never was.  At 34 years old I believe that Lowry still at least has 3 solid years left. He’s never been a high percentage shooter. He’s never been the quickest player on the floor. Lowry is savvy and tough. Those qualities tend age very well. After two DNP-CDs in Games One and Two of the Eastern Semis versus the Toronto Raptors, Celtics backup center, Enes Kanter logged a mere four minutes in Boston's 104-103 loss to the Raptors last night. He was not effective. Coach Brad Stevens inserted Kanter into the game to counter Toronto's zone defense. It backfired. Enes managed four points and one rebound in his limited minutes, but the Raptors offensive attack went right at him, starting at the 4:13 mark of the third quarter when Toronto guard, Fred VanVleet, drove into the lane and was fouled by Kanter. With Toronto consistently attacking the basket, Enes was slow in reacting.
