ML Carr: More than a towel waver

      Michael Leon "ML" Car r played for the greatest basketball franchise from 1979 to 1985. His career spanned stints both in the NBA and ABA. He was a two-time champion in 81 and 84 . He was signed/ (stolen away?) from the Pistons. Dicky V was the coach of the Pistons and said the heart and soul was ripped from our team. Kudos to Red with yet another steal of a signing.       Carr's D was instrumental in beating the Sixers in the 1981 Eastern Conference Finals . His ability to get in guys faces and lock them down was a huge reason why Red brought him here. His most memorable moment of being a Celtic came in game-4 of the 1984 Finals vs the Lakers with his epic steal and dunk which sealed the victory for your beloved Celtics.        ML may have been known for his towel waving skills outside of Boston but for Celtics fans he was a hard nosed defender who was a disruptive force out there.  Little known facts about ML were, in 94 as...
