Kris Midleton's Grade-2 MCL sprain may keep him out of entire 2nd round series vs. Celtics

 Shams Charania reports that the Milwaukee Bucks Kris Middleton has now been reported to have a Grade-2 MCL sprain and may miss the entire second round series against the Boston Celtics. The Grade-2 designation means that the medial collateral ligament has been partially torn , often causing instability in the knee. For a pro athlete, any such instability can lead to a complete tear without allowing proper time for healing. The left MCL injury of Bucks All-Star Khris Middleton is a Grade 2 sprain and he is expected to miss the entire second-round series vs. Celtics, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium . Jaylen Brown skyrocketing as second banana

We were all witness to it. Jaylen Brown put on a show, albeit against a Grizzlies team that truly wanted the game over before it even began. Nonetheless, Brown showed what he's made of - hitting tough shot after tough shot, getting to the rack, and playmaking for his teammates. Brown has been a revelation through 5 games this year, and should continue to get better.  To realistically have a shot at an NBA title, teams need at least 2 All-Star to All-NBA caliber players. Now more than ever, the league is dominated by dynamic duos. Kawhi and Paul George, Lebron and AD, Giannis and Khris Middleton, Durant and Kyrie, Bam and Jimmy, and so on.  Among those duos, Brown has often been compared to two players in particular - Paul George and Khris "Celtics killer" Middleton. Both serve as the secondary option on their teams, but are more than capable of being the man on any given night. Likewise, both of those players effect every aspect of the game - plus defenders, great scorers...
