Brad Stevens love of wings vivid in signing of Jabari Parker

Celtics coach, Brad Stevens , seems to have the "you-can't-have-too-many-wings" mindset . The Celtics have waived recently-acquired Moritz Wagner , and plan to sign the 6'8", 245-pound Parker to a two-year deal. Jabari Parker -- the former No. 2 overall pick -- has agreed to a two-year deal with the Celtics, sources said. Parker, a career 14.8 points per game scorer, gives Boston some depth in frontcourt. https://t.co/MBe2PXC5Fu — Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) April 16, 2021 The recently-turned 26 year-old was taken with the second overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, and two torn ACL's in the same knee and a bunch of trades have certainly had a negative effect on his career. Zion Williamson's Nike shoe explosion & knee injury have massive implications

How strong is this guy, anyway? Zion Williamson is Power Personified, and it showed only 36 seconds into a game last night. It was Duke versus North Carolina - Zion was on the move with the ball, when his left shoe disintegrated . His foot literally came through the bottom of the shoe, causing that traction-less foot to slide. He was forced to leave the game with what is currently listed as a right knee sprain. Make no mistake! This young man is an endorsement goldmine . He defies comparison. He is the prize in the upcoming draft, and there is no close second. Nike will take a serious hit on this one, but looking past the obvious shoe defects, Williamson's combined power and weight may have played a role in the mishap. We await further info on his injury - which hopefully is what it appears to be - a minor knee sprain. 😳😳😳 Any Zion comp is wrong haha we’ve never ever ever seen a player like him https://t.co/7ugSQCRLUR — Simon Rath (@HawksDraftNerd) February 20, 2019 ...
