Back Home a Revenge Game

Our Cs are home to play those pesky Pacers who have always given the Cs fits. I mean I remember the 90s when they gave the Big 3 fits yet we always found a way to win. The Truth had his moments with the Pacers. Historically there have been some really good matchups with these two teams. Larry Bird played for the Celtics and coached the Pacers. Larry damn near lead them to a title as Coach. The Pacers have always been right on the cusp. Yet have never tasted winning it all in the NBA. Here's hoping the Cs can handle their business and send em back to Indy with another loss.

Sam hits the first shot for the Cs and its a three! I'm really hoping that Derrick White can get his offense going tonight. He's just been completely off lately and it makes no logical sense to me. I mean he's still doing everything else well but we know how good a scorer he is. Kudos to Aaron Nesmith for finding himself in Indiana. I feel he may not have gotten his chance here but when he was here he played hard. You have to admire his balls to the wall reckless abandonment out there. Especially since the league is so soft now.

Excellent move by JB getting by the defender and baiting him into the foul. That's Elite basketball IQ right there. Amongst the fact that JB himself is a very articulate and intelligent individual. Indiana has come to play tonight and the Cs will need to be ready to fight. Great seal off right there by Garza, which allows PP to score and get fouled. Cs ball movement is looking really good here. When the ball is poppin you gotta love it. Love the fact that Joe wears his Cross on his Celtics gear. I love how Joe is himself in all aspects.

Cs have a lead after one, but I feel it should be more. With that said I'm cool with this ten point lead. Let's Go Cs! Cs are off to a solid start here in the second and could turn this game into a blowout. That's why Coach Carlisle took the timeout here. Good coaches know when to utilize their timeouts. Rick has been an elite coach and why he won a title as the Mavs coach. I mean he almost won last season with the Pacers. If Haliburton doesn't get hurt in game 7 I think they pull off the upset. This Pacers team will end up with a lottery pick next season and Hali being ready to go. Watch out for the Pacers folks.

Cs are handling their business here tonight, and like McDonald's I'm lovin it! It's nice when the Cs don't play down to the level of their opponent. Cs have a 23 point lead and I wouldn't be surprised if it hits thirty by half. JB is elite at getting to the basket. I mean it's a thing of beauty. He's grown so much as a player and I'm thankful I've been Herr to see it on a regular basis for these past ten seasons. His number 7 will hang in the rafters one day. After that the Hall of Fame in Springfield will be calling.

I love the Celtics commercial with ITs narration. What an incredibly special player he was for us. If it wasn't for injuries I think he would have put together an even better career. With that said he left some incredible memories for Celtics fans when he was here. I always hoped the Cs might bring him back especially that title team. Would have been great him being on the bench and getting a ring with us. I also wished Blake Griffin had come for the ride and grabbed a ring.

Cs have done a good job with sustaining this lead. It's good to see they haven't taken their foot off the gas tonight. In a win I'd take every game the Cs keep showing they are for real. Every member of the starting five ended up in double digits! Lead by our All Star Starter Jaylen Brown! Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
