Regular Season Mushes Along

 🍀

The regular season marches on or in my opinion mushes along. It's gonna be a long night watching Brunson flop all over the court tonight. I don't like watching him play the game I love. KAT is another guy I don't care to watch. To be honest this entire Knicks roster can go kick rocks. I'm surprised the Cs are resting guys today. I sure hope they do tomorrow night.

Cs look to continue to dominate this inadequate Knicks team. KP looks like he was in an epic fight. I love everything KP brings to being a Celtic. KP gets us on the board as he scores over KAT. KAT is a defensive liability and honestly plays with no effort on D. DWhite with an early Tommy point and earns the Cs another possession. JT nails the three, it was a perfect swish. He knows how to put the biscuit in the basket!

Cs are off to a very slow start on offense. The defense needs to get things going too! If they can get them both going they should be able to roll this JV level team. It pains me to think that we will be stuck watching this match up come playoffs. I can't stand the Knicks and how they hang their hat on winning a total of two titles?! I mean they aren't even in the Celtics league when it comes to winning and basketball history.

This game is dragging on, Cs with some excellent defense which leads to transition offense on the other end. Cs need to finish off this first quarter on a run to remind the Knicks they don't belong. There are some guys who I don't know how they made the NBA and when I look at this Knicks team that's what I think. I love when Jrue uses his strong frame to beast guys in the post. JT finishes off the first with nothing but net three ball!

🍀🍀

I'm hoping for a nice long run from the Cs as we enter the second. They have missed their fair share of good looks. Those misses will become makes and we will find ourselves with the lead at the half. I know writers are supposed to be middle of the road, but not with me. Especially when it comes to watching certain teams. Good to see Joe with his Cross on yet again!

These Knicks uniforms are UGLY! Cs ball movement is second to none. Gotta love watching PP body dudes and scoring inside. Cs are staying within striking distance, but I want them to grab a lead. KP seems to be locked in, and is looking good! He brings such a special skill set to this team. It's going to be tough to beat us when he's on. Let's hope he keeps it going after the timeout.

Cs need to tighten the screws on D... Cs aren't playing their best tonight. The game just doesn't mean anything in the long run. Cs have owned the Knicks over the past few seasons. DWhite is off from deep tonight and we are missing too many shots. Cs are not playing Celtics basketball right now. Way too many misses. Cs need to cut into the lead before the half. Refs are now doing their part to help the Knicks. Cs make a decent run to make this more of a game.

🍀🍀🍀

Refs are sticking it to the Cs tonight, this is my fear in the playoffs. The dirty NBA refs trying to screw us. I'm gonna be sick if this continues tonight. NBA refs are the absolute worst! Cs have been looking like they are going through the motions and the Knicks are playing like it's games seven. Yet the Cs are in striking distance. Let's see how the Cs come out in this second half. Let's just get to the playoffs healthy, that's all I want.

Jrue scores the first five points of the third! Smooth as a glass of whiskey! KP with the three and the Cs grab a lead! Timeout by the Knicks. If the Cs can go on an extended run this Knicks team will crumble like coffee cake. Cs are now extending pressure full court. KP for three again! He's an assassin! You have to love KP diving on the floor that's a Tommy point! I still don't trust these refs.

KP keeps lighting it up! He loves sticking it to the Knicks. JT just cooked Bridges, he can't guard for anything. KP AGAIN! That was from damn near half court. Cs must sustain this pace. These refs continue to help these Knicks. It's disgusting! What a block by Luke! Cs are a bit sloppy and have let the Knicks back in the game. That's the only way these Knicks can beat us, by our self inflicted mistakes. Jrue and JT with big shots to finish the third. Cs with a lead.

🍀🍀🍀🍀

Let's see if the Cs get a fair shake here in the fourth. Despite not getting any calls, the Cs are knocking down some tough shots! Proving they are ready for the playoffs. Derrick White has been absolutely nails! Let's hope they keep it rolling off this timeout. What a horrible call right there,  Towns misses a dunk and they call a foul. That was BOGUS! Absolutely disgusting call right there! I can't believe it the call was reversed.

JT for three! Great shot by PP off the glass! Big time players make big time shots! Cs hold tight on D and now need to make a play.  JT with an incredible shot right there! Another Hall of Fame level shot from JT! Cs are continuing to make big play after big play! JT is an MVP in my mind.

🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

Cs make all the big plays in OT and remind the Knicks they aren't in our league!

Celtic Pride! Bleed Green! C US Rise!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?
