Carsen Edwards "Quad Lord" mania is on a roll

Not sure I got it rolling, but I meant my tweet about Carsen Edward's quads. As a Personal Trainer for a quarter-century, I have never seen that in any client - or any other guy. The "Quad God". Every guy wants quadriceps like Carsen Edwards. pic.twitter.com/E2DMoBjiSn — Tom Lane (@CelticsSentinel) October 16, 2019 After Celtics practice today, Carsen Edwards - alias the "Quad Lord", was assailed by the media asking about his thighs. Edwards was clearly embarrassed, obviously wanting to move on to something else. As a Personal Trainer for a quarter-century, I have NEVER seen the like of those thighs. Looks like from our articles, you have a ton of Purdue followers. Great to be lucky enough to have you in Boston. — Tom Lane (@CelticsSentinel) October 17, 2019 Doesn't end there, folks. We seen...

Carsen Edwards with a 30-point shooting blitz in Celtics 118-95 win over Cavaliers

The Celtics picked the right guy at #33 overall in the 2019 NBA draft, and I picked the right one to write for @CelticsSentinel. Only two days ago, guest writer, Jim McIntyre made a potent argument that Carsen Edwards is the best shooter on the Celtics roster, and Carsen showed us that last night in Boston's take-out of Cleveland, 118-95. “I‘ve never see anything like that,” Brad Stevens says of Carsen Edwards hitting eight 3-pointers in just 5:06 of game action. — Boston Celtics (@celtics) October 16, 2019 Besides loving to watch @Cboogie_3 play, I have written that he scores in bunches. Hell, he poured in 24 points in a mere six minutes of the third quarter. He is quick and unpredictable, and as coach Brad Stevens indicated below, "His burst is different." Brad Stevens on Carsen Edwards: “When he came in for a workout, it was very clear he was a guy we wanted to draft. His burst is different.” — Boston Celtics (@celtics) October 15, 2019 We are looking at a scori...

Guest Article: Carsen Edwards is the best shooter on the Celtics this season

Guest article by Jim McIntyre Let me come right out of the gates with this: I am biased. I am a huge Green Teamer who always looks for the positive when it comes to the Celtics. So when I spoke this gem to my brother two months ago, he was pre-conditioned to try to temper my enthusiasm just a bit. “This kid is the best shooter we have had here since Larry Bird!” I proclaimed. “Ray Allen?” he responded within a second. OK. He was right of course. I was a bit out of control in making such a bold statement about a second round rookie draft pick. But make no mistake about it, Carsen Edwards is the best shooter on the Boston Celtics roster this season. If you question that, I encourage you to take a look at this video of the Purdue/Virginia NCAA tournament game from earlier this year. And if the “eye test” from this one game doesn’t do enough to get you on the bandwagon, please consider these factual nuggets: 1. Virginia was the eventual NCAA championship and they were by ...
