For those still looking for ways to criticize Brad Stevens for trading for Paul George, you will need to do a deep search. PG-13 may lead his team in turnovers and fouls, but Boston is now 5-1 to start the season.
George does everything else on the court very well - scoring (20.7 PPG), rebounding (6.0 RPG), assists (5.0 APG) and steals (2.3 SPG). He is looking healthy and playing like he has been with "The Green" for years.
Paul George in today's win at Orlando: 17 PTS, 6 REB, 8 AST, 2 STL, 2 BLK Really doing it ALL for the Celtics ☘️ https://t.co/qG1SmEGJ4B

Joe Mazzulla seems to be focused on defense when choosing his starting unit, and I doubt there was much decision making as to PG-13 starting Jayson Tatum is well aware of his front-court partner's defensive prowess.
Jayson Tatum speaks post game on playing alongside Paul George: “His awareness on the defensive end and his activity with his hands is just next level. He always has great awareness with the ball and deflections he makes it easier on the rest of us, even at this stage in his career. It’s been a lot of fun to watch."

Can Paul George avoid injuries this season and remain on the court? That remains to be seen, but after six games, he fits in so damn well with the Boston celtics.
