Streets of Philadelphia

Cs look to grab a three to one lead here in Philly. Cs must come out ready to fight on every possession. The Jays will need to lead by example but need everyone else to do their job. Calling Derrick White please answer the call and give us one of those games. These refs are already giving Embid all the calls. Watching him.play basketball makes me sick. The NBA coddles this giant baby. This first quarter was dominanted by the Celtics bench. PP was en feugo from deep! Walsh was a defensive menace and nailed a sweet three. Baylor our here giving everything he's got even nailing a three. Very impressed with that first quarter.

The Jays have yet to get going and the Cs have a solid lead. If they can get going it could be a long night for the Sixers. I really need to see Derrick White get going. PP is killing it tonight and I freaking love it! I hope he goes for forty! Overall I'm pleased with the defense from the Cs but they can't relent. Need to force Philly into missed shots and mistakes. Offensively Cs are doing well with the boards but they need to hit these shots more frequently. For the Cs to have this kind of lead and the big Dawgs to be playing rather quiet I'm impressed and pleased.

For the Cs to have a decent lead and still have both Jays not scoring their norm is huge. Cs will need to be ready to land the knockout punch in the third quarter. If they do that I would say Philly will fold. I am disturbed by how the Sixers stars get calls while JB and JT are hammered and get no whistles. There has always been a bias against the Celtics and it shows regularly. NBA can and is one of the most corrupt leagues when it comes to things like this. Cs are doing what I wanted and both Jays are playing so much better. You can't hold those two studs down. There's always been something special about them and they will lead us to more titles.

I want the Cs up twenty plus at the end of this quarter. Heck even thirty! Embid and Maxey are two of the biggest floppers and complainers in the game. It'd sickening! Cs are now in the bonus and if they attack its gonna be easy scoring at the line. Great job by JB attacking the zone inside the paint. JT found JB and now JB finds JT for three! Pritch! For three! Pritch again! Bing Bang Boom! Cs have done a good job at attacking this zone tonight. Kudos to Walsh for playing such tough D and dogging Maxey. Cs with a solid lead after three and must close it out in the fourth.

Cs with a twenty one point lead and I'm well pleased. I need twelve good minutes of basketball so we can go back to Boston and close this out. JT opens us up with the three and I'm all for it. JT finds Queta inside and we have hit the century mark. Queta with the return to sender on D! JT for three! Plus the And One! We have finally seen the Cs grab that thirty point lead. Keep it going and run em out their own damn gym! Baylor for three!!! Love that kid! He's got no fear and is absolute nails. Love seeing Queta work on the glass. Cs are killing it right now and I live it! Celtic Pride! One more! Banner 19...

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
