Playiffs Game 1

Cs take on the Sixers yet again in the playoffs. Cs own a huge advantage historically. If the Cs lock in on both ends they will win this series in 4 or 5. Maxey is friends with LBJ and flops just like him. Cs have moved the ball really well so far this afternoon. Defensively they are running down shooters. Cs need to force other guys to beat them and lock down on Maxey because he knows how to get calls. I like what I'm seeing from JB and JT. They will need to be at their best today and all playoffs. Cs with a solid start and decent lead after one.

Nice to see Garzilla getting some early run here. Grabbed the offensive board and heads to the line. Dude has been a beast all season! Baylor is in and already making impact plays, on both offense and defense. Garzilla for three! Bang! Brown is starting to pick it up and I love it! Cs are exposing the Sixers in the post as we speak. Queta especially here in this second quarter. Imagine this you get cut by the Kings... now here you are as a huge part of the Cs over the past few years. It's beautiful, when your hard work pays off.

Cs played an overall solid first half and will need to replicate that here in the second half. Play hard for 48 minutes each game and add up the wins. One win at a time, until we reach 16. For a throw away slash gap year these Cs can bring home Banner 19. Cs have really frustrated Maxey today. Queta starts us off with a third quarter jam! DWhite using Maxey and goes off glass. Plus the And One! I love Derrick White and he's one my favorites. You have to love Hauser challenging Drummond for the board. Cs out here landing haymakers and sending Philly into a spiral. Jordan Walsh is making hustle plays today. Gotta love his effort out there.

We enter the fourth with a pretty sizable lead. Sam for three! He's had a real solid day shooting the rock. Sam again! He's on fire! Cs are dominant on both ends. The lead is all the way up to thirty. Cs are laying the wood to the Sixers. They are sending a message to the Sixers and the NBA we are here and ready to roll. I'm thoroughly pleased with our Celtics today! Celtic Pride 🍀☘️🏀

That's 1

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
