Sunday Matinee

Slow start at first but the Cs have found water, I need to say James Harden is horrific. The way he throws himself into players is disgusting. With that said JT looks good today and this Cs team has something special brewing. It's a bummer we lose Vuc for about a month. Especially when he was finding a flow with us. Another overrated player is Donovan Mitchell. He and Harden are a perfect combo of two guys who can't win. Forever will they be bridesmaids of the NBA. Man PP is such a dawg on D. I love his tenacity and ability to cut guys off at the dribble.

Cs ball movement has been flowing like the mighty Mississippi! Defensively they are forcing non shooters to shoot and I'm all for it. The way this defense gets down to dance is legit. Very rarely do they make it easy on the other team. Cleveland is all outta sorts tonight and that doesn't surprise me. This Cavs team is decent but they don't move the needle. I see them winning a round in the playoffs and that might be it. Unless the face the Knicks in the second round and that I think they can win. With our Cs the sky's the limit. Seeing them getting JT back to an already top team is legit scary for the NBA.

Cs running on the break and it ends with Baylor jamming it home. These Cavs uniforms are hideous! Just a gross color scheme... Cs are relentless on both ends and it shows. What am act of beauty. A pass from DW to Queta who finds JT who gets to the line. If you are watching the game you know what I'm talking about. Cs have a solid lead but it should be a lot more. They will need to close the half with a nice run. Time to put the Cavs on ice here in the second quarter. PP looks solid so far today! Great team D by the Cs! Let's Go!

Cs need to absorb this Cavs run as Joe calls a timeout. What was a twenty point lead is now only twelve. Cs need to lock in on D and get the ball hopping on offense. Joe has been really good this season during timeouts and getting this team going. Great set off the timeout getting JB the ball with a chance for the And One. He totally took it to Qade and made him look foolish. PP into the game and scores easily. JB gets the board and fires it to PP who gets to Sam for the bomb! Here comes the BOOM! Cs have found themselves after that timeout.

JB has been butter cuz he's on a roll here in the third. He's as cool as the other side of the pillow! He's been playing like an MVP all season and he's showing it as we speak. Great challenge by Joe right here as Brown made a stellar defensive play. JB finds Sam I am and he goes BOOM! Baylor hits a three and the Cs are up by twenty three! Heck of a response to that timeout we spoke of earlier. Sam again! BING BANG BOOM! Cs are rolling folks! Kicking these Cavs butts all over the place. What a way to answer that Cavs run I'm so very impressed.

Cs are allowing the Cavs back into this one. Joe calls a timeout and we need the same results as last time. With the lead down to thirteen these Cs must dig down and bury em here in the fourth. JB with a heck of pass to Baylor for three! Huge shot! Cs with a solid defensive stand. PP for three! That was huge as the lead was down to eight. I'm not very pleased with where the lead has gone here in the fourth. JT is in but he's been sitting a while and he needs to shake off the rust. Cs are a few plays away from putting this game to bed. Let's come out of this timeout and finish it strong.

Cs make the right plays when necessary and pull this one out. JT with a big three and the Cs now move on to San Antonio. Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
