Finals Preview...

What could have been an incredible game turned out into disgust for me. No other star would ever be thrown out of a game. The only two that are on the NBAs radar are the Jay's. JB gets fouled and there is no call, he voiced his disgust to the ref and got a T. Given his frustration he was very talkative and a different ref trying to make a name for himself throws him out. Apparently the NBA didn't think the Spurs could beat both Jay's so they canned em. I mean realistically if the Cs were healthy and had JB they beat the Spurs easily. We were missing Pritch and Vuc.

Overall the Cs played well but Wemby is clearly unstoppable and an amazing talent. I mean what can't that young man do?! With that said if we see them in the Finals I expect a better job to be done defensively. Overall we saw everyone give their best last night. The Spurs play really tough D but damn near foul guys every time. They are similar to how OKC defends and fouls every time. I don't think regular season wins matter honestly. I expect the Celtics to make the Finals and give us everything they have.

What is going to matter this post season is health and matchups. I'd say this the East is top Heavy with the Pistons and Celtics. Out West its OKC and the Spurs. Teams I give a punches chance to are the Wolves and Nuggets. I'm disgusted by the Heat game last night. The Wizards should be ashamed of themselves and so should the Heat. The Wizards should be sent to the G League. No way in any aspect should BAM be considered in the league of Kobe and Wilt. Our beloved Cs look to bounce back Thursday vs the Thunder. Let's see how many flops Shai gets away with. Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
