Cs host the Suns

Cs have been playing relatively well especially on offense tonight. I've seen some excellent passing from everyone. The way this team finds each other is a beautiful thing to watch.  Defensively we need to buckle down, 61 points in a half is a bit much. I really need to see the Cs get dirty in the second half. Derrick White is having himself quite a great first half. He's been on fire and yet left points out there. JB has made some incredible shots off the dribble. To the point that I'm in awe of what I'm seeing from him. It'd going to take a lot more of those plays to get this W.

JT has been solid out there and his ability to pass is a thing of beauty. The fact that we get to see him ball is a gift. He's rounding into form and if I'm the NBA I'm afraid. The Cs are honoring a very special team tonight. As you can see from the photo above those three were incredibly special. Hondo, JoJo and Big Red exemplified being Celtics. Hondo was a walking bucket and could light it up. JoJo was smooth on both ends of the floor. Big Red was grit and heart but had an overall killer game. The man was afraid of no one! Just ask Kareem. It's funny they are honoring them given I was watching Celtic City today and their piece was on. Celtics history is incredible. When my obituary gets written it's going to say the Celtics are the greatest franchise in all of sports.

Both Jays out Herr in the third making a huge impact. JB with an emphatic dunk and he damn near killed the rim. I love seeing guys dunk with power! Like He-Man JB HAD THE POWER! Cs are on a nice little run right now and the Suns may be setting. It would be sweet if the Cs can land the death blow. Cs are rebounding the ball rather well. These calls Booker gers is disgusting, refs are carrying his water for him. These officials get duped by this players throwing themselves into the Celtic defenders. Once again JB is right about it not being basketball. JT driving is unstoppable, and needs to do more of it.

Cs enter the fourth with a lead, time to play winning basketball and finish it. Time to get on Booker and shut him down! Cs need to jump out to a fast start. Put some distance between them and the Suns. Especially with Booker on the bench. PP from another continent and swishes the three! Kudos to Garzilla and Neemi for being a nice one two punch in the post. JB playing like the freaking MVP right now! He's been huge in this fourth quarter and really should be the leagues MVP. After trailing a tad these Cs stepped up and made key plays on both ends. Time to grab this game and put it to bed. Great job by the Cs keeping the ball moving to avoid the intentional foul. PP seals it at the line! Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
