Crushed Em

How about them Jays! The NBA has a problem and it's Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. These dudes are shaping into form and come playoffs they will be on a mission. They took what was the remains of a Warrior's roster and beat em down. It was good to see old friend Kristaps Porzingis. If he's healthy last season I bet we go back to back. When he's healthy he's incredibly good. Defensively he's a stud and offensively he's elite. Maybe just maybe he will come back here next year on a team friendly contract.

It's so fun watching everyone on this roster excel. Baylor has become a dawg on D and can rebound with any guy his size. His offensive game is tight. Whether he hits threes or gets to the paint. He's going to come up big for us in the playoffs especially on defense. Derrick White seems to be invigorated now that JT is back. His shot if finally looking like it did last season. Our two headed monster in the middle continues to play solid basketball. I mean this whole roster has me excited. Everyone this season has contributed to winning basketball.

How great was it seeing Chief last night at the Garden. What a career he had for the Cs, he was big who could run and had the skills down low. I mean without him we never have the Big Three. It's amazing how Red acquired him and drafted McHale in the same year. Chief was blessed to play with the Cs and one year with Jordan and the Bulls. Chief is definitely one of my top big men in basketball history. Chief should have grabbed a few extra titles with the Cs if we were healthy and didn't lose Lenny and Reggie.

It's NCAA tournament time! Greatest four days coming up. I have so many memories of the tourney. Watching Michigan in 89 winning it all. Those Michigan Fab Five teams and those Calipari led UMass teams who always made magic happen. Personally I'm pulling tor Michigan to take it all. Yet Cal has his Arkansas team going strong and they have Darius Acoff who is incredible. I'll always pull for any team Cal coaches. Greatest

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
