Cs looking to hunt Bucks

Cs take on the Bucks this fine Sunday afternoon. With that said they came out with a solid win. JB ended up with thirty points and thirteen rebounds. JB is having a career year and really deserves to be MVP. Things are shaping up for JB to have another incredible post season run. In most of these possible playoff matchups he will be the best player on the floor. That includes playing the top ranked Pistons. No one in the East scares me whatsoever. JB will be looking to show the entire NBA why he deserves to be talked about as a top ten player.

Anfernee Simons with twenty seven points, he's been absolutely incredible off the bench this season. The Cs have always found players with nasty skill sets off the bench. He should be in the conversation for 6th man of the year. What I don't want is the Cs trading him over money. I want to see what he can do if and when JT comes back. I know this roster is lacking with a true big man, but I like this team a lot. No need to trade pieces away, let's see what this group can do in the playoffs.

Cs will be on the road Tuesday and Wednesday playing Dallas and Houston. Earlier this season Houston stuck it to us. Let's hope we can get some revenge. I am looking forward to seeing Cooper Flagg up close. That young man has been really impressive. Being from Maine he must be a huge Celtics fan. Cs will finish the week hosting Miami here at the Garden. Come Superbowl Sunday we get the Knicks. That will end up being an important game for the standings.

This past Saturday I was lucky to go see UMass live. While the product isn't as good as those teams I watched growing up, it was still fun to see a game live. The sound of the ball bouncing off the floor. A free throw hitting nothing but net. The roar of the crowd and just the pure beauty of the game of basketball. Looking around at the Mullins center I was reminded of those great teams Coach Cal had. Great players like Camby, Roe, Dingle, Bright, Padilla, Travieso, Kellog and so many more. Guys like Harper Williams, Will Herndon, Tony Barbee, and Mike Williams. The Glory Days... Refuse to lose!

                              Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
