Celtics reportedly acquire center Nikola Vucevic for Anfernee Simons

Well, it finally happened. Anfernee Simons has been reportedly traded to the Chicago Bulls, with Boston picking up veteran center, Nikola Vucevic (per nba.com):

The 35-year-old Vučević is joining his fourth team after stints with Philadelphia, Orlando and the Bulls. He has averaged 16.9 points and 9.0 rebounds this season, roughly matching his career marks of 17.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.

The speculation all season long has beeen that Simons would be traded for a veteran big man with playoff experience, and Vucevic fits that profile. The only downside may be that Neemias Queta may go back to his previous bench role.while still logging significant minutes as a reserve.

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's .
