All Star Break Is Near

While he may have doubts which is understandable getting JT back will put us into a great spot. Adding an MVP type player to a team with an MVP player plus this roster could be a recipe for success. JB and JT will be stronger together than apart. The rest of the NBA is shaking in their kicks. If JT is ready and hitting on all cylinders I can't see why we won't make a nice long run in the playoffs. Tonight we welcome the Bulls right before we head into All Star Break. With a win the Cs will be the second seed in the East. Amazing for a team who most said would be in the lottery.

A first quarter that showed us how damn good JB is! He was en feugo and yet cool as the other side of the pillow! He was hitting from deep and his patented midrange. Nice to see Sam get a few shots in. Vuc has some shifty post moves and they could be very valuable. Queta was solid per usual grabbing boards and scoring inside. He has learned the game and puts it into practice every game. Cs now have three solid bigs who will be weapons in the playoffs. Nice to hear Eddie on the broadcast. That dude could light it up!

This Bulls team is just a bunch of guys at this point. What I mean by that is the roster has no true direction after all those trades. I wonder if this is the end of his time in Chicago? PP has been balling all game. Whether he's hitting from deep or inside the arc his game is straight nails. Cs are starting to blow the doors off these guys and I'm all for it. Make light work of them let everyone play and go enjoy the All Star Break. This Celtics team has me excited for after the break and especially the playoffs.

When you see those Bulls jerseys I can't help but think of Michael Jordan and how amazing he was. I saw him play in 1992 in Springfield MA, in which I touched him on the shoulder. I also saw him later in his career at the Garden with the Wizards. No one had a will to win like he did. Everything about his game was perfection. I used to practice his moves in my grandparents driveway all the time. To this day I still wear Jordan's. Actually my Jordan gear is usually saved for going out! I can truly say I witnessed the Goat in basketball and football. Those two were maniacal in their drive to win no matter what.

I have to say I really love the guys on this roster. From top to bottom they all make you want to root for them. I mean heck I love the guys they traded away too! Brad just finds guys that play Celtics basketball the right way. I have high hopes for this group in the playoffs. Banner 19 seems like a great ending in my opinion. This group tonight has a skip in their step and are hitting on all cylinders! I love games like this where there isn't any stress whatsoever. Basketball is just so beautiful and I wish my career was centered around it. Celtics with a solid win and I can't wait for the second half of the season. Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
