Raptor Extinction...

Cs are coming off a bad loss given the Nuggets had no Jokic. JB didn't get any calls whatsoever that night either. I expect to see a more focused Celtics team that is going to hamdle their business. They are currently 2-0 vs the Raptors, both wins in Toronto. With that said we are in the Garden so why not take it to em! Cs fans are we excited to see the Patriots play Sunday night?! I know I am, they have exceeded expectations as have the Cs. Vrabel is an excellent coach and has a great staff. Drake Maye is playing incredibly and I love our run game. Expect the D to be stout come Sunday night.

PP hits the first three of the game, I hope it's the first of many for him. PP is having himself quite the first quarter. The entire team seems to be locked in. Love seeing JB bring down the house with his dunks. Sam Hauser is perfect from deep right now and he's been due for a big game. Let's hope he keeps it rolling all game. Crazy to think this Raptors team trails us by a game when personally they aren't as good as us. Hugo with a huge block right there! Love this kid! For someone who is only 19 he's wise beyond his years.

If I have to watch another Abu Dhabi commercial I might just punch my TV. You can show it over and over again and I will say the same thing. Back to what's important our beloved Boston Celtics. Love that pass from DWhite to Garzilla. You need to reward the bigs when they cut to the hoop. Garza has been an excellent signing for us and a guy who JT will like playing with. He's a guy who is unafraid to use his body as a weapon. Huge offensive board from Garza leads to Hugo highlight layup. Man was that pretty! Cs lead after the first and I need this lead doubled by half.

It would be nice if the Cs put a damn hand in Sheads face. Man I love Queta, he is such a lob threat and PP loves to find him. Can we talk about Queta last game 20 boards, 10 on the offensive side and 10 on D. That's one heck of a stat line! He's grown so much this year and will only continue to get better. Our bigs aren't traditional but they get the job done right. They are a two headed monster and the Raptors better watch out. For as well as the Cs have played we are only up five. I guess that speaks to the parity of the eastern conference.

Cs must wake up and play some better defense. Honestly they need to play better on both ends. Great drive and kick by DWhite to Simons for three! Simons returns the favor and DWhite scores inside. Simons out here making plays, driving and scoring with authority! Simons to JB for three! Simons has been a steal, I adore Jrue but he's been hurt most of the year. Well done Brad... Well done! Queta with the offensive board and score. Tommy point for the Pride of Portugal! What a BLOCK BY DWHITE RIGHT THERE! No wonder he has 500 plus career blocks.

The disrespect JB gets from the refs is putrid. How does a guy who goes to the hoop that much not get to the line?! These refs are horrendously bad. Except for my new fave Bill Kennedy. Wow I can't believe it, JB is going to the line... Cs with the lead at the half and in my mind it should be bigger. Yet I'll take where we are, shooting over 60 percent. Injury news Bill Kennedy was hurt in the game vs Orlando and Philly. I hope he's alright. I finally find a ref I love an he gets hurt.

Cs come out flat here in the third... Hey fellas wake up and get going. Sam for three and I can breathe a little easier. PP for three and I'm feeling a lot better! Great answer by the Cs after the flat start. The Cs are pushing the lead and I'm all for it! DWhite once again doing it on D and then scoring on the offensive end. He's one of the best on both ends of the floor. I'm still amazed with the fact that Brad stole him from the Spurs. To this day one of the best trades in Celtic history. Cs have absolutely owned this third quarter. These Raptors are getting closer to extinction!

It all comes down to now, the fourth is underway and here we go. Cs need to get it together as the lead is just about gone. You can't blow the lead especially with how tight things are in the East. DWhite with a huge three right there! Cs needed that one as things were not going well. Great pass from Simons to Queta for the one handed JAM! Sam with two huge baskets back to back. JB WITH THE EARTH SHAKING DUNK! So much so he made the Raptors players ancestors feel it. That dunk made me want to run through a wall! Cs making plays in the clutch. JB with the lefty layup that was MJ like. Cs come up big when it counts. Celtic Pride! Cs win! Love this team!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
