Nuggets Anyone...

No Jokic tonight, but the Nuggets have their other guys playing. It's going to be a dogfight no matter how you look at it. I do expect JB to have a much better game than he did vs the Bulls. Derrick White is the guy I'm watching to have a heck of a game on both ends of the floor. I do want to see the Cs coming out hot from the start. Throw the first punch and every other punch after that. Let's Go Cs!

Again with these gold jerseys, give me a break! Damn JB gets hacked and no call at all, these refs give him no love. JB for three! Talk about a great bounce back. That's what the greats do baby! JB with an excellent defensive play right there. He is the best two way player in the entire NBA. Hands down! The Cs offense is Sputtering early on and we need a spark. The Cs D is lacking as well. JB with the two handed HAMMER JAM! BAM!

Cs are getting a horrendous whistle tonight and Tommy is rolling over in his grave. Im so sick of these one sided calls. Where's my guy Bill Kennedy??? JB is an assassin from deep tonight! He's making up for his off game the other night vs Chicago. We are tied up as we hit under 4 minutes to go. Love seeing Garza use his wide body and scoring inside. He and Queta provide such a contrast to playing the post. Yet both are extremely solid and I'm all for it. They are a two headed monster. Cs are killing it in the paint tonight. DWhite and JB both playing extremely well tonight.

Simons has come out and been solid tonight. I like this kid a lot and hope the Cs find a way to keep him here. The refs are keeping Denver in the game. This second quarter has kinda sucked as the Nuggets are now ahead. Cs with some excellent ball movement which is Celtics basketball at its best. When guys are unselfish, great things occur. I just love how this team trusts one another. Cs are starting to cook on offense and JB continues to play like an MVP! PP is playing some exceptional basketball right now on both ends of the floor. Game is all tied at half and we are going to need a big third and fourth quarter.

I'm hoping as we enter the third that the Cs can go on an extended run and grab a decent lead. It's going to need to start on the defensive end which should lead to easy buckets. Amp up on D, rebound and run! Here we go folks. JB opens things up for us. Cs rebounding sucks right now. Nice job by Queta on the second chance opportunity. I love his hustle and the way he gets boards. Sam finally hits a three after so many misses. Derrick White makes a great steal and gets called for a foul, which was absolutely horrible.

Timeout on the floor as this third has been sluggish, way too many misses. I'm hoping Joe can get in their heads and awaken better basketball. Cs need to string together a few buckets in a row. Finally JB gets a call... This crowd Herr in the Garden sucks. Time for them to get into it. Have a few more drinks and get rowdy. Both teams suck offensively right now and it's crazy to me. Garza for three! Huge shot! Garzilla is ready to cause some destruction. Luka draws the charge and shows how valuable he is to this team. Cs have pushed the lead to nine! This team must be Butter because they are on a roll.

JB gets hacked and yet scores anyways. MVP! MVP! MVP! Good timeout by Joe, clearly he isn't happy with how we are playing. Hugo with a HUGE board, leads to a Simons three! That's a Tommy point! Simons loads it up again... Booya! Good finish to the third and the Cs have a slim lead. Queta out here battling earning a Tommy point on that play. Love this kid! Queta again! Another Tommy point for the Pride of Portugal! Queta has twenty boards folks! He's a freaking machine!

Simons with the sweet layup off the offensive board. An offensive drought ends up costing us a victory. I'm disappointed with how things ended up tonight.

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
