Miami

Cs are in Miami as they are on a 2 game skid, honesty they need this win. The loss to the Spurs I get but losing to the Pacers unacceptable. Time for the Cs to dig in on D and get JB going early. In regards to trading for Jaren Jackson Jr, I love him as a player but he's not worth the money or capital. You need balance on your roster. JB and JT can be your top Dawgs and then allow guys like DWhite and others to do their job. Cs are going with Hauser, Pritch, Queta Brown and White as starters.

This Heat floor is gross, so are their stupid uniforms. Sam gets us on the board with the tip in. The Cs suck right out of the gate and look terrible. Joe needs to and calls a timeout. I'm disgusted with how we have started. Why am I wasting my time watching this crap? I guess it's because I ultimately love the Celtics. Cs end up getting back into the game as they have tightened up their defense. Guys are guarding their yards and starting to grind the Heat into the ground.

Now if the offense can pick things up, by halftime we should be in the lead. The task at hand right now is to get this game nodded up. Cs can't find a way to get us closer, and we trail at the half. I hope we are able to make a run in the third. If not we will be looking at a third loss in a row. JB has been a non factor to this point and it's honesty shocking. I would have thought he was going to play his butt off tonight. He has a whole half to wake up and get going.

Cs just can't seem to get over the hump here in the third. They are due for a run but the question is when? Time to get dirty and go on a nice run and cut into or grab this lead. These refs have been horrible tonight. Now it seems as though there is a league wide memo to make every call against us. Anfernee Simons is carrying the Celtics here in the fourth. The Cs have fought to bring this lead down to four. Simons has been exceptional tonight. I'm not trading this kid, he's been an asset this season.

Simons has been amazing tonight! JB with a big three and DWhite with an incredible block! Cs are making huge plays in the clutch tonight. What an incredible comeback, yet their it still time left so let's close this one out properly. I am simply blown away by Simons he's been electric, and has this crowd in awe. They are literally hanging on every shot he takes. Cs must now dig deep on D. Cs have the ball and need to run a good play here. Hauser with a huge tip in off the miss to push this lead to six. What a play! We have a Let's Go Celtics chant!

Cs have made such key plays here in the fourth and have shown true heart tonight. The bench was huge in tonight's win. Thankfully this team woke up especially on defense and fought back like a great fighter. First quarter I was ready to lose it but this team always pulls me back in. Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
