Da Bulls

Cs welcome the Bulls to the Boston Garden after going 4 and 1 on the road trip. Cs must shake off the jet lag as they flew in yesterday from LA. Cs need to be ready to set the tone as this Bulls team likes to push the pace. If the C's play tough basketball this Bulls team will fold. Go Hard or Go Home! Cs are wearing those gold jerseys which I don't like. I prefer my simple home and away jerseys. Queta starts us off with the rebound and score.

JB is on the board and we are up by four! Cs have slowed down a bit and now trail to the Bulls. DWhite gets on the board and I'm all for him to go off. Sam is on the board and when he's on I like our chances. Cs are looking good from deep early tonight. Hugo has been a pleasant surprise all season and especially tonight. Simons is off tonight and needs to get inside the three point line. Cs are rolling though up by fifteen.

Nice to see and hear Dee Brown tonight, I loved him as a player. I had the original Reebok pumps because of him. Plus the retros they came out with a few years ago. Dee showed so much promise playing with the Big Three and Reggie Lewis. Honestly I felt Dee and Reggie would be part of the next championship in Celtic green. I was lucky enough to meet Dee and get a picture with him. He is so genuine and kind. It's unfortunate that Rick Pitino took over and eventually traded him away. To me Dee will always be a Celtic.

Cs lead at the half and are looking really good tonight. Let's Go! Cs have come out punching early on in the third. If they keep this up they can rest some guys in the fourth. Get themselves ready for the tilt with Denver on Wednesday. Sam continues to hit his shots and this Bulls team looks terrible! Cs just need to sustain the lead going into the fourth. Nice to see Simons getting into the action. Cs are just missing some of these shots and the lead could be thirty.

Cs have handled themselves in this fourth and look pretty good. Cs have basically led from start to finish in tonight's game. Everyone who has entered the game has made an impact. I'm really pleased with what I've seen tonight. Tonight has been a solid team effort and it's looking like we may be in second place in the East. Yet we need to truly finish this one off properly. Cs make the right plays at the right time and win this one! Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
