A fifty piece for JB

What can we say about JB... He was absolutely spectacular last night. He was hitting shots from the midrange, from deep and getting to the cup. Plus he was defending the Clippers best player. Tell me that's not an MVP?! The Cs traded away most of their core players and yet JB has willed this team to a top 3 seed in the East. The heavily favored Knicks are underperforming and yet we hear more about Brunson than we do JB.

What's crazy is Pritch, DWhite. Garza, Walsh, and Simons all scored in double figures. Plus a few guys with 8, who were so close to double figures. Such balance yet JBs performance set the night on fire. What's not to love about this team, they were long labeled dead after all those trades. Yet Brad brought in guys who are showing that they can play this game. This team is shaping up into a contender in the East. Actually they are a legit damn contender in the East. They have proven they can beat the Pistons and the Knicks.

Is there any valid reasons why the NBA and its fans don't give JB and the Cs any love? Is it jealousy because we are the greatest franchise in all of sports? I can just feel the anger of fans of other teams especially when we have the Jay's who both can drop 50 on any given night. Once JT comes back expect Banner 19 to follow sooner rather than later. For as many dumb losses we have had this season I'm very proud of this team. They have grit and play hard despite being lazy on occasion. Kudos to Joe for turning this team into

The Cs next three games will see the Bulls, Nuggets and Raptors all at the Garden. I'd love and expect them to win those three games. Joe will make sure they take no one for granted. All these teams are beatable and on the flip side could beat us. Yet I'm confident we grab all three! Cs win! Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
