One More Before Xmas

Cs ran a great set to open up the scoring tonight. Yet the Pacers have come to play despite their terrible record. Cs are trailing and is very disappointing to watch given I expect more from them. It's gonna take effort on D to get back in this game. Get a hand in the shooters faces and make a stop. Simons and Hauser with big buckets to cut into this lead. DWhite for three! Nice run by the Cs here to get back in the game.

This second quarter isn't going well at all. Cs trail by fifteen and I don't think they were ready for tonight. They should be ashamed of themselves tonight and looks like a loss. There is no flow on offense and the D has been suspect. Cs will need to make a run before the half to have a shot in the second half. No ball movement and it's a lot of one on one. Timeout by the Cs as this game gets worse. If really feels like a long night.

Cs have clawed their way back and only trail by six. Will they have enough left to make this comeback? Brown diving on the floor shows how badly he wants this. Yet it doesn't matter after we turn the ball over. JB cuts the lead to two and Indy wants a timeout. Huge three from DWhite! Cs force a shot clock violation! JB and DWhite are giving it their all right now. What an incredible comeback!

For a team that looked dead in the water Joe sat the starters and the bench helped chip away which is why we now have a lead here in the fourth. Queta with two big free throws right there. JB with a beautiful corner bomb for three! Nothing but net! Cs are making big plays on the defensive end right now. You gotta love it! DWhite scores as this game is over! Cs win! Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
