Ballin in Washington

Cs are short handed in Washington with no JB, but we are playing tomorrow night vs the Fakers. Queta the Pride of Portugal is having himself one heck of a first quarter. The way in which Queta has improved this season gives me hope that his ceiling is high. Cs will need to address the bigs in the off season but Queta is a huge part of the future. I absolutely love watching him play the game of basketball.

DWhite has shown that even without JB he can carry the load on offense. He's had an up and down season but he's slowly breaking out and showing us who he is. An All Star caliber player who is one of my favorite all time Celtics. Yeah that's right I said it. His defense this season has been exceptional. Did we expect anything less??? Offensively he's finding that form and I tell you this watch out folks. Once he finds his stroke the Cs will be in the top four in the East.

Jordan Walsh has shown he can score when needed but that isn't his strength. He's a scrappy defender who can rebound and gives it his all. I like his work ethic and you know he gives it his everything. Minott has been solid yet again and has been such an excellent pickup. He to me has a chance to be a part of our next championship team. There are a few guys on the roster other than the studs who could be nice pieces come next year when we are loaded up for another title run.

I really like Hugo and being only nineteen has such incredible upside. I wonder if he can develop into a Manu Ginobli type. We all remember how incredible he was for those Spurs teams during their title runs. I know Washington stinks but kudos to the Cs for coming out and not laying an egg. We will see the Leflops tomorrow night in the Garden. Kudos to everyone tonight. Pretty sweet to have several guys in double figures. Balance is the key to lots in life. Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
