Cs in Disney

Cs are in the land of fantasy as they take in the Magic in Disney. Minott with a three that sounded like it splashed in the ocean. Cs D is allowing the Magic to get it going early. If i failed to mention it, this is a cup game. Not sure about all of you but I'm super excited. If you could hear the sarcasm in my voice you know this Emirates Cup is a joke. Nobody cares about watching these games. I care because I love the Celtics and basketball.

I have a feeling this game could get ugly real soon. Joe has called a timeout and will try to get this group going. Offensively we haven't been bad, but defensively we suck. I'm not gonna pull any punches with how I feel this season. I'm still extremely frustrated with new owner Billionaire Bill Chisolm and how he gutted this team of so many quality players. JT is on the bench rocking a St Louis jersey like hoodie that looks pretty sweet. I don't care for the Blues after they beat the Bruins in the Stanley Cup back in 2019.

Celtics are going to get rolled tonight, I don't see a path back for them right now. They are stinking it up out there tonight. Those Magic uniforms are garbage just like their cup floor. Such a stupid gimmick, if you disagree with me share it in our comments. I'm all for a fair conversation about this cup crap. I'm glad I was sorta wrong about them getting rolled the lead is only eleven. So... We may just have a shot tonight. Into the second quarter we go. Hugo is playing very solid D and making all the hustle plays.

Nice to see Joe always wearing his Cross on his shirt. Not to many coaches if any do that. JB looks pretty decent so far tonight. He's been the Celtics best player all season. Do the Celtics realize defense is part of the game? Not from what I'm seeing so far. With that said Walsh with a huge block! Yeah Walsh who I think doesn't bring much to the team. Cs are on a nice run and only trail by four. Kudos to the fellas for continuing to grind. Magic have pushed back and now the lead is back to ten. Cs have reached the half and only trail by eight.

DWhite opens up scoring in the third, let's hope there's plenty to follow. Minott with the finger roll going hard to the lane. JB scores and we are right back in this game. DWhite with a steal and here we go! So far the C's are the aggressor in the third. Cs are crashing the offensive glass and it earns em two free throws. Excellent hustle by this team, and you have to love the effort. We have tied the game! PP nails a big three and its a whole new ball game. Just like that the Magic have reclaimed the lead.

Cs and Magic are trading haymakers, as the pace of the game has picked up. Brown looks like a stud and has shown how damn good he really is. He's just cooking everyone who is guarding him. Cs are doing everything needed to give themselves a shot at winning this one. It will come down to rebounding and defense. Cs trail by four as we enter the fourth. Cs have a good chance of pulling this off. Simons hasn't done anything tonight. Just as I typed that he nails a three! Hopefully that gets him going, and just like that Simons ties the game with a three.

We have a timeout on the floor, can the Celtics pull this off? Derrick White playing incredible defense out here. The man is a winner! Just like that he nails a three and we have have the lead! Simons just cooked Carter and nails the jumper in his face! Straight baller! For a game that I originally thought may be a blowout is now gonna come down to the wire. Let's go Celtics and pull this one off! The Magic have given the Celtics fits over these past few years. To beat them would be a step in the right direction.

Simons for three as the shot clock expires. Bang! The Magic are in the bonus already, that's a terrible thing. The wheels on the bus are starting to come off and this could be the end for the Cs. They fought hard but it may not be in the cards. Cs need a basket right now, and Queta delivers. The Cs are cooked and will probably lose to them on Sunday as well. It just isn't going to be our year that's for sure. Cs lose and I've got a feeling I will be writing that a lot this season. Stay strong Celtics fans.

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
