Cs in Philly

Cs are off to a good start early, but last time the played Philly we blew a big lead. This NBA Cup court is gross. I love the Cs posting JB up against Maxey. Time to make him work on defense. JB for three! JB scores again and he's playing very well tonight. PP is looking really good so far tonight. Nice to see him find his groove early on. Cs came to play tonight and I've got a decent feeling about it. Cs are not messing around  as the lead is up to nine. Queta with the block of the year and Hugo nails the three! Cs with a solid lead after the first. I like what I saw on both ends of the floor.

Cs start the second quarter with a decent lead. The key is building on it and keeping it steady. Simons with a nice bucket off the glass. This kid is quick and can get anywhere on the floor ge wants to. Simons with a three just as the shot clock went off. That was a sweet move and shot, it was electric! Nice to see DWhite finding his shot as well. WHAT A BLOCK BY MINOTT!!! Cs have two of the best blocks I've seen this season. Cs have pushed the lead to eighteen and I'd love to see it reach 20 plus by half.

Minott is a dawg folks! He loves getting dirty out there and I'm all for it! I love this kid! He should be in Green and White for a while hopefully. JB for three! He looks excellent tonight and that's what the greats do! Simons for three and the Cs lead by twenty! Here we go! Keep it going fellas! Timeout Sixers... Cs are getting in the faces off all the shooters. Defense wins games and you need to challenge every shot. Cs had a slow start to the season but are finding their groove. Let's keep it rolling! Cs are holding their own on the glass tonight. Cs are letting some of this lead slip and Joe calls a timeout.

I don't like what I'm seeing right now in the third. The lead is down to only five. Nice pass from JB to Queta for the deuce. Sixers are getting all the calls and the lead is just about gone. These refs suck! Cs will have to dig deep if they want a shot at winning this game. It's frustrating how leads just disappear. I can't believe how bad the Cs are here in the third. JB with five straight points to reclaim the lead. This game is to close for comfort and we need to make a run. Cs are on a 10-0 run! Cs lead after the third.

It's time for who wants it more, JB has 28 and let's see if he goes off in the fourth. Hugo and Luka are both very gritty players who Celtics fans will love. Great ball movement as Sam cashes in the three! Cs need JB back in this game. Excellent pass from DWhite on the inbounds to Queta for the JAM! Hugo has been a dawg tonight. He's causing problems all over the floor. He could be the steal of the draft, once again Brad has done it. This kid is all hustle and yet has some quality skills on the floor. Cs look to finish this one off in style.

Cs have forced 17 turnovers and scored 22 points off of them. X is in the game and grabs a huge board. Cs need to buckle up on D and get this done. Embid gets so many foul calls go his way. It's a freaking joke honestly. X for three! He has come in and made some key plays tonight. This team is learning how to win and will fight tooth and nail to get there. Some how the Cs have let this lead dwindle down to two. Brown is going to the line and we need these. He only gets one... Cs escape with the win! Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
