Celtics 2025-26 season definitely a step into "The Unknown"!

The Boston Celtics are definitely heading into unknown territory this upcoming season. The roster has been ransacked during the off-season, and frankly, no one has a decent handle on what they can accomplish.

They will certainly miss the suffocating defensive coverage focused on superstar, Jayson Tatum, and that coverage will be felt the most by Jaylen Brown. Can he handle his new role as "Alpha Dog"? He says he can, and who can doubt the 2024 Finals MVP.

Neemias Queta isn't Kristaps Porzingis by any stretch, but he can be a double-double machine with a defensive mindset close to the rim. If he sticks to what he does best and lessens his on-court errors, he can fill the role of starting center for The Green.

If Yahoo's Fantasy mock drafts are any indication, Derrick White is expected by many fans to raise his game a level or two. Payton Pritchard just may do the same.

Anfernee Simons is a real unknown in the mix. He is a volume scorer, but he will need to work harder on the defensive end to stay on the court for big minutes. And that is assuming he is not traded elsewhere prior to the season.

Who will be that fifth starter next to Brown, White, Queta and Pritchard? Expect to see some experimentation here by Joe Mazzulla. Luka Garza and Chris Boucher will no doubt get a shot as fifth starter, and Sam Hauser is another option.

The "unknowns" are plentiful for The Green. But for a change, expectations are not very high. The first half of the season should be interesting - and possibly quite exciting - as the new faces get a shot at proving themselves. And if the season seems lost by All-Star Weekend time, there is always the chance of a lottery pick joining Jayson Tatum when he returns to action in 2026.

  1. My name is Craven, and I’m from New York. I used to suffer from Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and I want to share my story to show that healing is possible, even from illnesses that seem incurable. I know how difficult and frustrating COPD can be because I lived through it. Conventional treatments didn’t bring the results I hoped for. But everything changed when I came across (www.earthcureherbalclinic.com) through a simple Google search and contacted them by email at (info@earthcureherbalclinic.com). Their natural healing program made a profound difference in my life. Today, I am completely free of COPD, and I couldn’t be more grateful!!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
