The one-time Champ and Celtics superstar will miss the rest of the post-season and most of next season. Jayson has to be devastated right now, but I have faith in the medical team - and Tatum - himself, that his recovery will be complete and he will be welcomed back onto the parquet with the same skills and determination we saw since he came into the League.
Jayson Tatum today underwent successful surgery to repair a ruptured right Achilles tendon. No timetable is currently available for his return, but he is expected to make a full recovery. Further updates will be provided when appropriate. pic.twitter.com/TTXziFtMQB
