Awful refs

Jayson Tatum has reentered the conversation as he looks to bring the Celtics a road win. Unfortunately we have no Jrue Holiday tonight. KP gets inside early to kick off our scoring. I'd love for him to have a big game tonight. JT takes the rock to the whole like a man's man and scores easily. He honestly got hacked. JT pops back from three and goes nothing but net. So far so good and I see no ill effects from the wrist. A clear cut offensive goaltend goes uncalled...

Al nails his first shot from three! The man is ageless! This Orlando team is nothing more than a bunch of dirty punks. Thankfully we have a very mature team that isn't taking any gruff! The harder the Magic hack the better we play. Al earning Tommy points and finding DWhite for the three! JB is running on the fast break and sending home Jams! Cs looks pretty locked in early on. I'm gonna do a dance so we can increase this lead. Orlando calls a timeout and we are in their head...

JT looks locked in! Wagner must be watching Leflop cuz he duped the refs there. What a crock of absolute crap! These refs can be very shady given how they "fix" calls. Cole Anthony is a clown... These Magic players cry after every call, just shut it and play ball. Cs are hitting a rough patch and need to wake up. This Magic team is quite literally annoying me. They hack and then hack again. Cs have work to do but can blow this game open.

Cs must lock in on both ends of the floor. Cole Anthony is a dirty son of a gun, he just hack JB. That play deserves a Flagrant one or two. Such a dangerous play right there, they should throw him out of the game. Dude hasn't done anything in the NBA and acts like he is something special. Sit down bench warmer you are no where near the player your father was. Cs need to make a run here or I'm gonna go off.

Love seeing KP take advantage of the mismatch. KP finds DWhite for the three! These refs are keeping the Magic in the game. JB out here beasting guys and getting to the cup. JB is a man amongst the hackers. This Magic team is gross to watch. JT on the other hand is beautiful to watch! Damn JT is cooking out here right now! JT for three! JT looks like a man possessed! In a good way! He's been looking like a future NBA finals MVP! Great players do great things when they are called upon. Cs finish the second with a huge haymaker to grab a solid lead!

Cs took that second quarter by the reins and showed Orlando they don't belong. Everything tonight should be decided here in the third. Cs have owned the third and must do so tonight. Overall I've been pleased with how everyone has made impact plays tonight. That first quarter was a little sluggish but the second showed we are here to win. JT opens up the third with a three! These Magic players hack like crazy but flop on the other end. What a freaking joke!

Cs have hit a ditch and can't score right now. Timeout Joe and they better right the ship. The ship is on choppy waters right now but the Cs are in striking distance. Just need to ride out this storm. Kornet gets tackled to the ground and there is no call... The refs are allowing the Magic to play a very dirty brand of basketball. Cs have way too many turnovers tonight. That was the ugliest third quarter I've ever seen.

Cs need to muster up their best quarter of this game. It's starts on defense and they need to get going on offense. Cs must box out here in the fourth and limit turnovers. The fourth was terrible especially given poor officials. Celtics lose...

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
