Thunder in Boston

I'm late to the party but I'm getting tired of seeing JT get no love from the refs. First half was quite the show! Kudos to Al, DWhite and JT for carrying the load on offense. JB gets straight into the paint to get himself going. He had a very rough first half. C's can't afford to miss shots right now. These refs suck! I really need to see the C's go on a run here in the third.

The rebounding has been a big problem for the C's tonight. If we want a shot at winning tonight we need to correct that. Right now I'm not sure if the Celtics have it. The lead is back up to nine and there is no life in the building. C's are going to need to really get down and dirty on D. If they want to make any headway here. The offense has no flow at all.

Derrick White with some incredible hustle right there. His hustle leads to that Al three. The C's still trail by seven, timeout Thunder. C's need to make a run and continue to get into this lead. We can't be going into the fourth down big. Here right now is a key point in tonight's game. Luke enters and we need him to bring some energy.

Jrue just used his strength and beasted his defender. Grabbed that loose ball and just drove into the paint like a running back to the end zone. Some excellent D by JB right there. Luke off the pass from JT JAMS it home! JT loves finding Luke when he goes straight into the paint. The lead is down to four and PP forces Shai into a turnover. C's D is stepping the heck up! Sam I Am for three.

JT flies to the basket with a chance for the And One! He hits this and we have come all the way back! There we go! All tied up after the third, which is what I said we needed. The fourth is upon us and we must play our best here. The key on offense is pushing the pace,  don't allow the thunder to set on D. LUKE WITH THE FOLLOW UP DUNK OF THE GAME!

The free throw disparity is unreal tonight. These refs have been awful. C's haven't found their offense here in the fourth. JB bulldozes his way into the paint and scores. DWhite with the incredible sequence right there. He blocks Chet and then hits the corner bomb to tie the game. That right there shows how damn good Derrick White is. He's a Winner! I absolutely love him!

The game is all tied up as we come out of the timeout. Al Horford with a sweet three to tie the game up again! The calls Shai gets are aggregious. JB now has five fouls. I despise NBA refs and how dirty they are. Now DWhite has five fouls. This is absolutely insane! So many shots have gone in and out for the C's. Sometimes it's just not your night and this has that feeling. A tough loss to the refs tonight.

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
