Friday Night Frenzy

     C's are short handed yet again, no KP or Jrue tonight. It's gonna take the next man up in multiple spots tonight. I expect a big game from PP tonight. Question is who will be that guy we don't expect? Is it Luke? Possible Torrey Craig? All I know is despite being shorthanded we have a good shot of beating these Cavs. Their record is good but they aren't a team I'm afraid of. 

     C's are off to a pretty impressive start tonight. The fellas are locked in tonight! JB is en Fuego to start, I love the way he looks tonight. The Celtics defense is unreal right now! Derrick White has three steals already. They are firing on all cylinders right now. The Garden is in a frenzy right now. This start is absolutely unreal, welcome to the Jungle Cleveland. 

     These uniforms are hideous but their play is Beautiful! Given the shorter bench tonight, sustaining the lead may be troublesome. Nice to see Luke back on the floor tonight. Darius Garland is one of the most overrated players in today's game. I'm not impressed with his game at all. So far tonight we are seeing the Celtics exploit these Cavs on D. 

     JT just cooked Garland on that play and passes Wilt Chamberlain in an NBA scoring category. Now that's some elite company to join. This kid is beyond special and we are lucky to see him regularly. JB is overpowering anyone who is guarding him. These two guys are studs! They are going to have to carry the team tonight. Especially being so short handed. Great D by Craig gives JT the opportunity to make a nice block! Get that weak crap outta my house! On the other end JT cooks Mobley and gets the And One.

     The Jays combined score in that first quarter would be beating the entire Cavs team. Talk about impressive! When your two best players set the tone as they have everyone else needs to follow. Thankfully the rest of the guys are. The key here is sustaining this lead. Every NBA team makes a run and we need to shut it down. Great job by the C's on the boards in that first quarter. 

     Al Horford with a great pass to PP for three! That was an elite pass! JB for three! Hes got some Pop in that shot tonight. What a defensive play by Luke right there, which leads to JB scoring in transition with the And One! Luke's basketball IQ makes him a huge weapon for the C's. Guys like Luke are so valuable, so many games this season where he's made key plays. 

      I don't like the way Scal blows smoke up the other teams players butts. It's annoying to listen to. C's need Tatum back in the game. No KP and Jrue is starting to hurt. The defense has lost a step here in the second. Derrick White has back to back threes! He's starting to heat up here. JT is kicking the Cavs bleep right now. Cavs have no one who can guard either of the Jays. JT just called Bank! For three!

     That first half from JT was absolutely incredible. His offense flowed within the context of the game. He was rebounding and finding his teammates with success. For all those pundits who claim he isn't a star, well look at that first half. This young man is playing MVP like basketball. He really deserves that award, but I'm sure he prefers NBA titles instead. He said he's chasing Larry Bird and I freaking love it! 

     I would like to see the Celtics play some tighter D here in the third. Sam Cassell feels the same way I do! Great job by JB getting Mobley on the head fake. Cerebral play by JB! Love that guy! JB has been a guy who has worked his entire career at getting better. It truly shows night in and night out. I was there in person the night he had his first two dunks as a Celtic. 

      There's something about Mitchell that really ticks me off. C's looking like a well oiled machine right now! What's amazing in tonight's game is how both Jays have dominated tonight at different points. This Cavs team has nothing when it comes to stopping them. They may be able to score but they can't guard for diddly. C's should beat them in five games in the playoffs. Mark that down! 

     Garland carries the ball and no call. Instead Scal is drooling all over him, give me a break! These refs suck tonight, two fouls on JB have been bogus. Now we get on on JT. JT just bully balled his way into the paint and scores! JT is playing an absolutely incredible game tonight. He's unstoppable!

     C's have let some of the rope go, and just get it back here in the fourth. Luke with an incredible block! That was huge! C's need to get back to playing better defense. The way the C's have let this lead go is very frustrating to watch. There's time left to get it back but they need to figure it out. Crap finish tonight. Both losses to Cleveland this year have been when we are short handed. If we are full strength we beat them all four times.
