C's enter the Land

 ☘️

C's enter Cleveland and it's time for some basketball. Derrick White is Mr D to start the game with a steal! JB gets us on the board with his patented jumper. I have a bad feeling C's are going to get screwed by the refs tonight. I hope I'm wrong. Unfortunately for the C's Jrue seems a bit off shooting wise. Actually it's brick city on both sides.

JB is the only Celtic to score early on. KP is blocking shots like a machine tonight. C's need to get their offense going. JB is the only one getting his offense going. If the rest of the team can follow we have a good shot of winning! PP for three! Nice to have him back after missing last game. DWhite for three! C's are slowly finding their rhythm. Mitchell annoys the hell out of me! I'd love to see him take a hard foul!

C's must continue to be Dawgs on D! Then the offense will follow suit. Al for three! C's are crashing the offensive glass and earn another possession. C's are ahead in second chance points right now. Al with another three! C's have a decent lead after the first.

🍀🍀

If the C's can really get their offense clicking they can do some damage here in the second. Luke Kornet being a dawg on the boards! JT hits a deep three! C's have a chance to go up by twenty. We are only 47 seconds into the second. Keep pushing it fellas! C's seem to be locked in right now. They better not lose focus!

Bad foul by Sam just now, don't foul three point shooters please. Sam makes up for it by hitting a three! C's are killing it with the second chance points! These Cavs uniforms are ugly. JT for three! The C's are locked in on both ends right now. Some of these shots are just missing. C's could be up but thirty.

JB goes strong to the cup and jams it home! He's dominating whoever is guarding him. C's are holding their own despite the Cavs making a run. Another Cavs run and we are only up by twelve. Need to close this quarter off the right way. Dicey way to close the second but the C's lead by ten.

☘️☘️☘️

KP needs to get his offense going here in the third. JB to KP for three! Big shot right there. KP follows it up with the steal! That steal led to a JT layup in which he got hacked and there was no call. DWhite for three and the steal by Jrue. C's need some freaking energy here. What an incredible flop from Garland dude is a punk!

C's are exposing Garland as KP is killing him inside. I love seeing the aggressive take by JB. Force these refs to actually make calls. This league is so freaking soft now. Thanks Leflop for teaching these guys to flop like dead fish. Even in football they flop, just look at Mahomes and that fake tight end in the AFC championship. Charmin soft sports all over.

C's must go on a run here and build up this lead. Wake up guys! PP for three! That was a big shot right there. PP is huge in games like this. Great play by KP who gets to the cup and crushes the two hand JAM. PP with a huge steal that leads to a JT Jam! C's have somewhat weathered the storm here in the third. These last few minutes are key, go out there and water the lead so it can grow like a beautiful flower.

JT with back to back baskets! Look at Jrue posting up Mobley. Using his body to physically dominant the bigger player. Scott Foster is a seedy red, aka the fixer. C's withstand the Cavs run and we lead by twelve.

🍀🍀🍀🍀

It's all down to this, C's are up twelve with 12 minutes to go. We need to rebound, play tough D and push the pace on offense. DWhite with the three to open things up! JB to Luke for the jam! Love the pick and roll! That's basketball! DWhite forcing Mitchell into a huge mistake right there. DWhite for three!

C's need to hold the line! C's get no calls whatsoever. White takes the three and gets hit. Where's the whistle? If that was any Cavs player they get the call. I hope we don't get screwed. Good timeout by Joe. Settle the guys and have them ready to close this one out in fashion. Great play as KP jams it home! Let's Go!

Refs are trying to screw us now. Derrick White is telling the refs to sit down and shut up! He's lighting it up right now! He's en Fuego!

C Us Rise! Celtic Pride! Bleed Green! This Cavs team ain't got nothing on us! Come playoffs we will beat em five!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
