MLK Day C's at Warriors

 ☘️

C's off to a nice 5-0 lead. KP and JT are our scorers. KP with another three! JB found him in the corner. C's must not fall into bad habits. C's defense is suspect already. They need to punch the Warriors flat in the face today. KP gets the rock and posts up Curry. Steph Curry is the reason today's NBA is three happy and it sucks. .

I'm looking for consistent effort on D as we head towards the All Star break. Not to mention I want to see better shot selection from the Celtics. Too many threes makes the game I love look terrible. The three should be used as a weapon but not to build your offense around. Blame Curry for that, and Leflop for flopping. Two "stars" who ruined the game I love.

Let's see if the Celtics can put together a quality game for four quarters today. Even when they almost make the steal the other team scores. It's brutal. JBs turn around jumper is absolute butter. He should dominate inside the post. Jrue just cooked his defender and scored on the layup. Nice to see them getting inside the paint.

PP to Luke for the JAM! Golden State has no answers inside. JB with the Jordan like layup. Man is Wiggins soft, JB bodies him on D and he flopped like a dead fish. JB just showing he's yoked while Wiggins is just a flash in the pan. Dude has never lived up to his number one pick status. Overrated! These Warriors uniforms are U G L Y! JT with a beauty right there! Bang!

Steve Kerr is a bit of a dink IMO. I didn't mind him as a player, but as a Coach he's annoying. C's are starting to move the rock really well here. C's with a lead but it should be more.

🍀🍀

C's are doing pretty well on the offensive glass today. PP isn't shooting it very well today. Pass the damn ball! JT splits the D and Jams it home! If the C's continue to attack the paint they will win this game. So far I feel their offense is moving the ball relatively well. When they are engaged and moving the rock good things happen. These Warriors are anemic on offense and the C's need to continue to capitalize on that. When a team is down, you kick, punch and do what's needed to bury them.

Wiggins Sucks! PP punked him on D and he gets bailed out by the officials. These Warriors play very dirty on defense grabbing and pulling at the C's players. I think it's about time one of our guys pops off and knocks em down inadvertently. These refs allow such crap to go on especially vs the Celtics. Then if the C's were to play that way there would be calls all day long. Double standard from my perspective.

C's continue to crash the offensive glass here. Holiday for three! Let's Go! C's score after the steal! Way to go PP! PP again! Taking it inside the paint! KP with the Block! C's D is locking em down right now! C's are taking it to the Warriors right now! It would be ideal for the C's to go on a run here before the half. Hit the final knockout blows early on.

Curry looks his age so far today... JB with the Mans move getting inside and scoring. C's are exploiting the mismatch with KP here today. The Warriors have no answer for him inside the paint. Al hits a three! Good to see Joe wearing his cross today. JT just cooked up Buddy Hield like he was a high schooler. Give me some more of that! C's lead at the half.

☘️☘️☘️

C's get Jrue Holiday going early with the three! Now to KP in the post for the And One! C's ball movement continues to look good here in the third. Good start so far especially because sometimes third quarters can be an issue for us. JB just muscles his way into the warrior defender and scores! JB with the three! C's are rolling! The lead is twenty three!

C's are destroying the Warriors. As it should be! This Warriors defense is awful and the C's are exploiting them. For once the C's are laying the hammer to a lesser team than them. This Warriors team started the year well, but now they have petered out. The key here is to finish this third on fire and call it a night. Get the subs in for the fourth and on to the next game.

I'm pleased the C's have done what's necessary here in today's game. The lead has ballooned to twenty nine. I've never heard this arena so quiet in my life. I really like it! Imagine paying for this game as a Warriors fan an watching them get rolled by the C's. I mean if you are a C's fan here your loving it.

🍀🍀🍀🍀

C's played some darn good basketball on offense and defense today. There is definitely room for improvement. C's next two games will be vs the Clippers and Fakers. Those should be two games in which we can start to build a win streak.

Celtic Pride! C Us Rise! Bleed Green! Nineteen in Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
