C's Welcome Da Bulls

 🏀

C's look to bounce back after their epic meltdown last game. My hope is we actually play a full forty eight minutes. Everything starts on defense which leads to good offense. Run in transition and rebound the damn ball. C's win the tip and we are off and running... With the Bulls. Holiday finds KP for the deep three and he's ready to roll. C's force a shot clock violation! All good signs so far. KP with another deep three! Let's Go!

JB gets inside the paint and scores the lefty layup. JB secured the rebound on the other end. Great hustle by DWhite who taps it to KP. Derrick White is the ultimate hustle guy who has the skills to accompany that. That's a recipe for success! Last game DWhite played really well and finally seems to be back in the groove. I'm hoping for him to give us a complete game tonight.

KP is truly a special player, who can ball out. He is why I still believe the C's have a good chance to repeat as champions. I want to say Eddie House made a lot of sense in pregame. We, myself included are comparing this team to last years. Unfortunately it's not the same team. Yes we have almost the same roster but each year is different. We need to look at this team for who they are which is a bit erratic. Good thing is we have only lost back to back games once. A pretty incredible stat, no other team canay claim to that.

C's have allowed the bulls all the way back. Joe calls the timeout and it's needed. Out of the timeout JT scores back to back baskets! Springer is in and gets a steal on defense. I love the energy this young man brings to the court. I hope he has a future here and isn't traded away for nothing. I'd rather cut ties with Walsh honestly.

🏀🏀

C's hold a slim lead vs the Bulls. It really should be a lot more. PP with the interception! Like he was playing safety out there! That young man is everywhere! You can tell he truly loves this game of basketball. PP finds Springer for three! The kid looks good out there! I just don't get how this garbage Bills team always gives us problems especially at home.

JB attacks the basket like he's on a mission and these refs don't give him the respect he deserves. If this was any other star, he would be getting these calls. It's something to me watching guys like Tatum and Brown not get the respect they deserve when it comes to calls. Plenty of other players get calls handed to them for doing nothing but flopping. For example Leflop is the " goat" at flopping. As we all know in every sport only certain guys get the calls. Just ask Josh Allen.

Did anyone hear the rumor about Adam Silver contemplating ten minute quarters. Not sure I like it, what's next shortening the season? I'll say this if you play shorter games does that mean no more load management? A shorter season should allow guys to play all year. That way when people pay their hard earned money they get to see the players they want.

The Bulls have been a floundering franchise since the Greatest Michael Jordan retired. It's interesting how when you let the greats walk how long it takes to get back to the mountain top. The Bulls and Patriots are two tell tale signs of what happens after the Greatest leave. Let's hope with the drafting of Drake Maye and hiring Mike Vrabel will lead to a quicker road back. C's lead at the half!

🏀🏀🏀

C's played a pretty darn good half of basketball. What's key is playing another good half of basketball. Let's talk about KPs first half. He was simply incredible out there. Shooting the three like a marksman! He would be winning the Smith and Wesson award for most targets hit! If this KP is what we get in the post season ain't no one beating us. This starting five and if you want the next three in Sam, PP and Al are a daunting top eight.

If any of our readers would like, who are your top five players of all time? I'll go with mine, Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Wilt Chamberlain. I think we need to see the C's come out here in the third and knock the Bulls on their butts. End this game right away! Don't give them any hope at all! Just like a boxer knows when his opponent is ready to be knocked out. That's what the C's must do and POW!

C's have been killing the Bulls with points off turnovers. That's a stat you love to see in your favor. C's are allowing the Bulls to stay within striking distance. I thought the plan was to hit hard and hit em often. C's didn't get my memo. Hopefully Joe gets to them during this timeout and we see a better team. It all starts on defense fellas, get it going! C's come out and start laying haymakers! That's what I'm talking about!

What drives me insane is this is, we should play this way all the damn time. Those old Bulls teams were always out for blood. I wish that was how we played every game. I get today's NBA player is more about their brand and they have already been paid. Guys like Bird and Jordan would play you for your lunch money. I'm also a guy who needs to win at everything. Cards, board games, video games, and anything you can think of. Especially on the basketball court!

🏀🏀🏀🏀

C's have done their job in the third, now it's time to finish that job here in the fourth. We all know the fourth can give the C's issues. Especially when they slow down the pace. They just need to learn to continue to go balls to the wall all game, especially the fourth! There's no need to slow things down. Just keep punching!

Springer is a guy who like a lot. He's really giving Max effort on each and every play. I love watching this kid get some time on the parquet. Great box out by him right there! That's excellent technique! I really hope the C's don't trade him. If you are reading this Brad let's keep em! Plus he's rocking the double fours! Danny's old number! That's gotta be a good sign!

C Us Rise! Celtic Pride! Bleed Green! 19!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
