C's are Mile High tonight

First Quarter ☘️

C's and Nuggets are off to a blazing start. Despite no Jokic the Nuggets look pretty solid. JT with a huge jam that felt as if he want a mile high to slam it home. KP is looking like he's getting back into form. JT with the block! JT is looking like an MVP right now. No DWhite tonight so we have our double big with KP and Al.

Playing in Denver has been giving the C's issue over the past few seasons. It's really quite the home court advantage. PP is a sharp shooting sniper! Love seeing him in transition knocking down threes. JT just abused Jamal Murray! Love seeing JT post up and scoring inside. JT is an absolute STUD! One of my favorite Celtics!

If the C's can pull tonight out it will be a very successful road trip. If they didn't go cold in the second half on Sunday, they would have won. I fully expect to see the Celtics go on a big winning streak as the season progress. I tell you this if the C's are healthy they are the team to beat. You can take the Cavs and Thunder and kick rocks! C's lead after the first.

 Second Quarter 🍀

It will be nice to see the Celtics back in the Boston Garden. What's nuts is they are quite the road warriors. C's are doing a very good job in the post tonight. Several Tommy points being awarded to the coaching staff for attacking the post. Sam hits a three and the Nuggets need a timeout! I'm loving what I'm seeing tonight!

C's are allowing the Nuggets back into this game. We need to take a bite out of em right now! We need to pick up the intensity on defense here. I like how Joe has used the zone this year. If the C's can use that as a weapon especially in the playoffs watch out! C's must regain some of the lead they have lost. C's offense has lost a few steps here. Which is part of why the lead is shrinking.

Great pass from JB to Queta on the baby oop! C's are running in transition and JT Jams it home! Let's Go C's! The Brown and Queta combo has been very effective tonight. C's are really capitalizing on the Nuggets turnovers. Let's keep turning em over and running in transition. Due to a Murray run the lead has shrunk. C's will need to close this half with force.

I really hope we get a sustained stretch with the full Celtics five healthy and playing in unison. All season it's been very rare to have them all together. I hope Brad looks to deepen the bench in the sense of who can come in and make plays. My goal would be finding a way to get Lonnie Walker back here. C's lead by a very slim number.

Third Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

C's are a tad rattled, Denver now has the lead in the third. The way JB gets to the cup with no resistance is truly special. He's so strong and athletic that no one can guard him at all. Denver has no one who can guard him. I love how he's doing that get out of my way mentality. That's what will carry him come playoffs time.

Great job by the C's forcing Denver into the traveling violation. We haven't seen it all year, but when the C's amp up their D it's elite. Defense will be the key to unlocking this teams true potential. Jrue Holiday hits that little paint jumper and it's pure. With Jrue Holiday out there the team never looks frazzled as it used to be. He's just that calming presence all championship teams need. Jrue with the steal and it leads to a Loud JB JAM!

With KP healthy it give the Jays a huge target down low. Both Jays work so well with KP. KP is truly the key that unlocks this teams ability to be unstoppable. Like who do you guard? The backcourt consists of the best backcourt in all of basketball. Then you have the loaded front court with the Jays and KP. I just love how unselfish they play as a unit. Add to that all the bench pieces who fit like a puzzle.

As much as watching the C's can get me nervous, they really allow me to destress after work. They are an escape for me especially because of how much I love basketball. It's my favorite sport and watching it gives me joy. There's such a beauty in this game that I don't think people appreciate. For me the Celtics are my go to! Jrue Holiday when he's on can knock down any shot! Zone killah right there! C's with the lead!

Fourth Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

JT has a beautiful stroke when it's falling. He's a very elegant player but unafraid to get his hands dirty. How many times are the TNT guys going to say how short handed the Nuggets are? So are the C's bro! We all know injuries are part of basketball. You play who is in front of you. There have been plenty of games where the C's aren't full strength. Like tonight, but the announcers have forgotten that.

All tied up until Sam I am goes deep from three! Sam has that rainbow three that just makes the splash sound in the end! KP with the Huge Block! He said NO SOUP FOR YOU! Jordan goes up and KP stonewalled him. I always knew KP could score but his defense is what impresses me even more about him. Despite some ebbs and flows of the game the C's pull this one out with a nice run!

C Us Rise! Celtic Pride! Bleed Green! Nineteen in Green!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
