🏀

C's have their super stud five going tonight. KP from deep is a beautiful thing! Bang! KP is getting his groove going lately. With him healthy these C's go to another level. For you Nintendo fans it's like going from Tecmo Bowl to Tecmo Super Bowl. He's the key to going back to back.

JB is killing it in the paint tonight. Getting his way with no resistance at all! JB looks like a magician out there. C's defense sucks right now and Joe calls a timeout. They have to stop giving up easy points. Get a hand in their face and put the effort in. There's no Fox in the Kings lineup. C's need to take advantage of that.

I would really like for the C's to get dirty on D. Way too many missed shots to this point. We have the double big lineup out here. C's are getting out worked right now. They must get back to Celtics basketball. It starts on defense which will lead to transition offense. Can we go to the damn hoop... Stop shooting so many threes.

JT hits a three and ultimately we need it. Luke is making a big impact so far tonight. C's trail after the first.

☘️🍀

C's will need a run here in the second to get back in the game. JB to KP for three! Nice to see DWhite back on the floor. He does look a little rusty... Great Block by DWhite on that play! He's the best defensive guard in the NBA. He always knows where to be and has impeccable timing. He deserves to be an All Star this season.

JB with the incredible pass to Jrue for two! JB finds DWhite this time! And One! JB knows both Jrue and Derrick are the best backcourt duo in the NBA. Making sure to show them both some equal love. C's have really brought it in this second quarter. I'm glad they woke up! Now they have to sustain it!

So... All I've heard about is the Cavs and Thunder. It honestly makes me sick! The Celtics won't have any issues beating either of these two teams in the playoffs. JT hits a three! Time for JT to take over right now. We need him to be aggressive and make these Kings feel like court jesters! I love watching JT play the game of basketball. It's poetry in motion.

JB is like a Mack truck, bowling people over like nothing. Monk has no ability to guard JB. JB has built his body up so that he can absolutely demolish guys. JB can and will dominate on both ends of the floor. C's have a slim lead at the half.

🏀🏀🏀

C's have missed way too many shots in the first half. Here's hoping they can start making up for it here in the third. At some point those misses have to even out and find the bottom of the cup. Time to get our offense going! C's expose Derozan as KP posts him up. The C's should run that set cuz no one on Sacramento can guard KP. KP for three! He's Back Baby!

JB hits a three from the top of the key, that was pretty. There's something about that straight away three that's magical. I know I like pulling that shot out when I play. Great D by the C's back to back blocks on the same play. First by DWhite and then by KP. It feels like every game DWhite plays he gets a block. It's freaking incredible! He is an All Star! The voters are duped by the so called stars. With that said DWhite shines bright like a diamond!

Jays are out here making music tonight! JB to JT for three! That swish sound is beautiful! Someone should put swishes together in a musical symphony! Scal is a horrible color guy, he has no Tommy in him at all! For the love of basketball someone put a body on Sabonis. We are all tied up and we shouldn't be.

☘️🍀☘️🍀

C's need to figure things out here in the fourth. Giving up two freaking threes in a row. Where's the effort on D? Playing at home hasn't been kind to the C's this year. Way too many losses already here at the Garden. We have no sense of urgency tonight. We had a hungrier team last year. It's a shame. Tonight's loss feels like the worst of the year. Losing sucks, and we now have eleven losses. Last year we had eighteen. Disgusting...

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
