C's are back home

First Quarter

C's are extremely short handed tonight. No Al, KP, Jrue or Sam... C's must jump out to an early lead. I despise the Heat and hope we destroy them. C's are off to a slow start... C's are not where I want them to be. Allowing this heat team to grab an early lead. I'm not a big fan of Walsh. He's extremely limited as a basketball player. A guy like Lonnie Walker would have been a better option.

There isn't a player on the Heat I like. From top to bottom I can't stand any of them. C's defense has picked up and slowly the offense is taking shape. A very choppy game overall tonight. Great entry pass from JT to JB in the post. Honestly there's no one to fear on the Heat. Get in the post, set up camp and dominate. Both Robinson and Herro suck in my opinion. DWhite goes off glass and scores!

Joe calls a timeout after some shoddy defense and offense. Allowing this dumpster fire Heat team back into the game. CS aren't playing to what I expect. C's with a slim leas after one.

Second Quarter

PP for three! He's on a tear lately folks. He truly has an incredible skill set. Even for a guy who's six one. He can shoot from anywhere on the court. Drives with the control of a new car and passes pretty damn well. His defense and rebounding are quite valuable. His energy off the bench has saved this team a few times this season. PP with the corner bomb! Take that zone and stick it Spo!

Time out for the Heat as they question whether they belong on the floor with the Celtics. These Zenni commercials with Sam and now Jrue are pretty epic. I would love to see the C's drive this lead up to twenty. Like they are on the open highway with the windows down and the music blaring. My goodness does Walsh look lost out there. DWhite from way downtown goes SPLASH!

X is entering the game and I'm looking forward to seeing what he has to offer. JTs shot has been off, yet he's doing all the little things. It's so nice to have DWhite back! He's balling today and I'm loving it! PP just made Robinson look like a JV player. That dude Robinson is awful. While I'm at it so is Herro! Average pieces at best on any team, I'm glad their not here as Celtics.

C's D forces the Heat into a rushes shot. Luke with his third block of the game on the kid with the flowing locks. Get that weak stuff outta here! Great job by JB getting in the paint and forcing Bam to commit the foul. Browns basketball IQ is next level!

Luke has been a wall in the post tonight. Thou shalt not pass! Get that weak garbage out of my house! Love seeing Luke ask the ref WHAT?? Clearly a phantom call for the Heat. Did Pat Riley pay this red off?? C's with a sizable lead at the half.

Third Quarter

It would be nice if the C's could land the knockout punch here in the third. Let's get both Jays going, some two man action. What's nice about both of them is they aren't forcing their offense. They are letting the game come to them. Which to me shows how they've matured as basketball players. I absolutely love them and have since they were drafted.

Cs have been careless with the ball and there goes the lead. Joe calls a timeout and it's warranted. The C's look like they are sleep walking out there. I hope Joe lights a fire under them. I do not want them losing back to back games. I expect a more intense group out of this timeout. They damn well better be.

JB for three! Great set by Joe! The mastermind of these Champion Celtics. JB drives and gets fouled. His aggressiveness has been on point tonight. He attacks the rim like he's mad at it. Luke Kornet gets his sixth block and it leads to a JT three! Isn't it something off the timeout they have looked like a different team. That's why we have the best coach in the NBA.

I have to shout-out Luke Kornet, his defense tonight has been all world. You have to enjoy seeing him get his chance and making the most of it. He knows his role and is a joy to have on the bench.

C's are starting to separate themselves from the Heat. Overall the C's still have a comfortable lead. Tonight's overall quality of basketball isn't there. Especially given. Both teams are on a back to back.

Fourth Quarter

Kudos to Queta in that third quarter. He was solid on defense, and had some nice buckets! I have loved watching Queta grow over these past few seasons. The growth of the C's bigs has been immense!

C's enter the fourth up by 22! Time to put these bums back on the street. Love seeing JT get the loose ball and finding DWhite for three! Another three from DWhite! Bing Bang Boom! Even though they are shorthanded tonight, I'm enjoying what I've seen overall. The ball movement has been pretty efficient overall. Nice to see their D also show what their capable of.

Derrick White is becoming Mr Fourth Quarter. It seems every game whether he's playing great or having an off night, the fourth brings out his absolute best. He's just so basketball savvy. One of my favorite basketball players in the league. It just so happens he's a Celtic! That makes it even better.

Drew Peterson has done rather well for the C's. Tonight and last night he's shown he can play with the big boys.

Another quality win for our beloved Celtics! Next up the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. Friday we welcome Giannis and Sat old friend Marcus Smart.

C Us Rise! Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! Nineteen in Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet.
