Undefeated Cavs Enter the Jungle

C's welcome the undefeated Cleveland Cavs to the Boston Garden. On top of that it's another Emirates Cup Game. Is it a must win for the C's, cup wise? Who knows and I don't care! I just want to watch my Celtics hand this overrated Cavs team a loss.

 ☘️
It's time for tip off! My goodness this floor is ugly. I love my Celtics green but I miss the Parquet. C's need to attack the paint tonight. Need to force this Cavs team to defend. Jrue Holiday hits his patented corner three for the C's. He's been deadly from that spot for the past two seasons.

Al nails a beautiful three from the mid corner spot. JT gets on the board with the And One! JB also gets on the board with a beautiful three ball! The Jays are ready to roll tonight! Keep your foot on the gas and crush this team. Show them why they don't belong on the same floor with you.

JB finds JT for THREE!!! JT finds Al for Three!!! This team loves sharing with one another. They would get a satisfactory on their team report cards that's for sure! What a set as the C's defeat the zone. They made that look extremely easy. I have to say this now, Tony Brothers is reffing and I expect the C's to get screwed at some point.

The C's lead by only six here and Joe calls a timeout. It's clear to me he senses the C's losing their way. JT just made Mobley look like a clown on D. Here's my take on Mitchell, choker! Puts up all these numbers and come playoffs his teams lose. Dudes not a winner by any means. C's have way too many turnovers here in the first. If they protected the rock they would be up by fifteen. Queta finds Sam who scores at the buzzer. C's hold a lead after the first.

🏀🏀

Honestly the C's should be up by double. Way too many turnovers tonight, time to clean it up and build this lead. DWhite hits the beautiful three! Queta gets up scores and Brothers makes a garbage call. What did I say earlier...

PP nails a three from about half court. I absolutely love his confidence! How is it every game some nobody on the other team goes off vs the C's?! It drives me freaking crazy! I really want the Cs to lock down on defense. Lock it down and run in transition! It's a simple yet potent formula. To be honest this Cavs team isn't very impressive, and never will be. Come playoffs they will falter and lose to an inferior team.

PP with a beautiful fall away to grow that lead to six. PP with a THREE! Great pass from JB. Love the ball movement right now! As Al gets inside and scores on Mobley. I need more of that kind of offense tonight. JB finds Jrue For Three! I love JBs court vision tonight. He is so capable of getting his teammates going!

JT is at the helm, steps back and hits a pure three! That sounds of nothing but Net is music to my ears. I love how JT is on an absolute mission this season. He's playing incredibly but not selfishly. To me that's MVP type basketball. Anyone else who has followed JTs career think he could be an all-time if not the greatest Celtic ever?? I mean he needs a few more rings, but it's possible in my eyes.

Man I'm loving this team tonight! The lead is up to fifteen! C's are losing the battle in the paint, but winning behind the arc! JT with another THREE! HE'S FEELING IT FOLKS! C's lead by 17 at the half!

🍀🍀🍀

DWHITE FOR THREE! C's by twenty! C's are picking the Cavs apart piece by piece. DWhite with the Block! Followed up by Al for three! C's with the D and then the O! It's only a regular season game but it's a statement game for our C's! Enjoy that undefeated streak Cleveland but it's going down in flames tonight! The CHAMP IS HERE!

C's have been en Fuego from deep tonight! I used to complain about the threes but I tell ya Joes system works! You have to admire Joe's commitment in his system. I love the way he fights with Gary Washburn during post games! In all seriousness, Joe has won me over. His love for the Celtics and basketball is beautiful to me I feel we are kindred spirits.

The lead has shrunk to fourteen. Need to make a push here and get it back to twenty. Time for the C's to attack the paint. Awful non calls here. Tatum gets fouled and no call. Cavs making a run fueled by the refs. C's must counter punch right now! DWhite off the dribble and nails the jumper. There have been no whistles for the C's but the Cavs are getting away with everything. What a freaking joke!

JT for three! C's lead after the third. I love how JT made Number 20 looks foolish because honestly he is.

🏀🏀🏀🏀

It all comes down to the fourth, C's must establish themselves now! JB finds Al for three! C's are missing shots that usually fall. JB gets through the lane like a knife through butter. These refs are screwing Al right now on both ends. Brothers crew is in full effect! I told you all earlier he would screw us and it's happening.

Time for the C's to block out the noise and go for it. Enough is enough! JB gets the double team to commit and finds Queta. DWhite drives, scores and gets mauled. Going to the line for the And One! Man do I love Derrick White! He's the ultimate Celtic! He's truly one of my favorites! Another no call as White goes down.

JB finds JT for the JAM! Al grabs the board and leads the break! The ball finds Pritchard from deep.... Nothing but NET! Pritchard has ice water in his veins! What a huge shot! Time to play some championship level defense. JT gets his hand on the rock and gets hacked. No freaking call...

Al with a HUGE BLOCK! DWhite for THREE! Absolutely clutch! JT abuses number 20 yet again! JT has passed Bill Sharman for eleventh on the Celtics scoring list. JB abuses the Cavs defender and scores off the glass. I love how both Jays have decided to attack the paint here in crunch time. JB with the scoop off the glass and the C's are getting closer to ending this undefeated streak of the Cavs. Celtics Win!

Celtic Pride! Bleed Green! C Us Rise! Nineteen in Green! ☘️🍀

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
