C's must be Warriors vs Golden State

Celtics welcome a Warriors team who really hasn't played anyone that good. Their record is built up by playing cream puffs. Oh and JT has some payback for Steve Kerr.

 First🏀

We have a double big starting lineup, Queta alongside Al. I'm looking forward to seeing them tonight. C's need to stomp on the Warriors throat early on. C's start off the game with excellent ball movement. Queta with the Jam! Looked like a set play off the tip. C's offense is taking time to get into their normal flow.

Jrue finds DWhite for a three in rhythm. We have the best backcourt in all of basketball. DWhite once again with a three in rhythm! Queta with a thunderous block on the other end. Talk about hustle! That's a Tommy point! Queta was a diamond in the rough, and now he's becoming a very valuable gem.

JT gets Curry in the post and finds DWhite for three! Love how unselfish he's become over his career. Whenever JT is taken away by the D, he finds the right guys in their sweet spot. I do hope he can solve this Warrior D and light them up. C's with an early lead and hopefully it continue to grow.

Interesting strategy by Joe having Queta guard Curry. Overall defensively the C's look locked in. Especially with their switches. C's have forced the Warriors into four early turnovers. Warriors D is also causing the C's issues. Usually when these teams play it's an offensive explosion, not tonight. We might be looking at a slugfest right now.

C's have stumbled offensively here, time to ignite that fire as the quarter dwindles down. How about a few PP or Sam I Am bombs?! JT finds Luke in the post with great pass. Luke to the line and hits em comfortably. JT with another incredible pass to Sam for three! We are all tied up with under a minute to go. Luke gives JT a screen and JT nails the shot, plus the And One. That's the shot that will get JT going! C's with a slim lead after the first. 24-19

Second🍀🍀

PP opens us up with a deuce off the glass, using that stout body to score. C's have no ability to score right now. The rock finds PP in the corner for three! Not sure why the C's are playing so slow but they now trial by four. Joe takes a timeout and let's hope he makes adjustments. I really can't stand the thought of the Warriors winning tonight. Especially after how Kerr and USA basketball screwed the Jays.

Generally after timeouts the C's come up with great plays. We need one of those now to get the offense going. PP with a step back J for the score! DWhite sacrifices his body on the charge. Huge play given the scarce amount of points. DWhite with a huge steal on the outlet pass. DWhite is just a defensive savant! Doing anything and everything needed for his team.

JT for three! He's starting to heat up and get his groove going. Warriors call the timeout as they sense JTs greatness coming out. He's hit his last few shots and I expect him to reel off a few more. Great player do great things in games like these. JT gets called for a total crap call on the offensive end. JT gets on the floor and forces the jump ball. Scal kisses other teams players butts. It kinda sickens me...

Al finds Queta for the deuce! Queta has a velvet soft touch in the post. What a sweet move by Jrue in the post. He's like a smooth whiskey after a long day at work. C's really need to go into the half and figure some things out. That was a gross half. Ice cold shooting to end the quarter. C's trail and I'm gonna blow.

Third☘️☘️☘️

C's enter the third trailing, and I really need to see them come back. This Warriors team isn't anything special, C's just need to get going. Question becomes who is going to be that spark here in the third. Also will the Celtics D be able to muster up a run of stops to get back in the game.

Jrue Holiday looking graceful getting to the cup. Al nails a three and grabs the offensive board. I don't think the C's have it right now... Unless they can prove me wrong. DWhite nails a three off the second chance opportunity. Jrue finds DWhite for yet another three. DWhite has done everything tonight!

C's have cut the lead to six off of a series of saves that culminated with a JT three! C's have a pulse and now need to show that championship heart. That sequence showed me that I may have been wrong about not having it tonight. Yet they still need to erase this lead staring them down. They must take the fight to the Warriors on both ends.

C's are just missing on some of these plays on both ends. C's are getting no love from the refs. Great effort by Sam which draws a foul on Curry. PP breaks some ankles and finds JT for three. JT with another THREE!!! JT gets called for a T after the defensive foul. What's a pile of crap! JT gets into the paint and goes off glass. He's really looked good in this third quarter.

Luke kept the ball alive with heart and effort, leading to a three from PP! Hustle plays matter in games like tonight. The Celtics second chance points here in the third have been huge. The way they are crashing the glass and hustling shows this team never gives up. You have to sometimes grind out wins especially when things aren't going your way.

C's trail as the quarter is coming to an end. C's must make a mini run right now! Great D by Sam! Leads to a JT for three! Luke to Sam for three! C's make the mini run I wanted. That's how you respond to getting punched in the face during that first half. With landing your own punches in the third. C's trail by one...

Fourth🏀🍀🏀🍀

C's have the rock to start the fourth, make it count fellas! Jrue to Queta for the jam, but he gets hacked. Sam I Am with a Tommy point on that hustle play! Those are championship winning plays right there. Draymond Green sucks! Just putting that out there.

DWhite for three! C's with the lead! DWhite with the rebound! Followed by the fall away jumper! He's showing that ice in his veins right now. DWhite is the ultimate Celtic. I never want to see him in any other uniform. Ever! Man do I love him!

Queta is becoming a fan favorite! Hustling on that Hauser miss and Jamming it home! Everything Queta does is what you want your big to do. He plays sound defense, rebounds the ball well and hustles his butt off. Even on the offensive end he's got some smooth moves. Another guy I love! I love this team! Which I believe all our readers know.

Time for the C's to D up! C's force Payton Jr into a travel. Queta with the one Handed HAMMER! DWhite for three! Queta with the BLOCK! Dude is making this his statement game! If the C's pull this out, it will be remembered as the Queta game! We have a challenge on what looked like Curry kicking DWhite. The rule says you can't do that as the offensive player. This better be overturned...

What an absolutely horrible call, these refs suck. NBA always trying to fix games for their ratings. Jrue with a smooth lefty layup. Blew right by the overrated Green whose defense has lost multiple steps. C's need a basket right now. Excellent fall away from JT! JT with another huge jumper plus the And One. C's trail and need a stop here. Cs lose a tight one.

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
