A Late Start In Beantown

C's welcome the Raptors into the Garden for a 8 pm start... Why not 7! I don't make the schedule but if I did tonight's game would be earlier.

☘️

Injuries on both sides! Let's Go! Saturday Nights Alright For a Party!

These uniforms SUCK! With that said these C's are the best team in the NBA. Tell the Cavs to @-#$ off! C's are making everything work on the offensive end! I'm gonna say this right now... CS will repeat this season.

C's are pretty damn good on both ends. These refs SUCK! C's are doing what's needed on offense. Playing tight D and moving the rock. Man do these uniforms SUCK...

Joe calls a timeout... C's need to regroup and get it together. JT for THREE! C's have a game plan to run with! C's defense is locked in but they are not ready to win right now. C's D is weak right now. I'm getting very frustrated right now.

C's need to close this quarter out right... This game is way too close! C's make a HUGE STOP! My goodness close this quarter out right?! JT for THREE!!! JT for THREE!!! Cs lead after One.

🍀🍀

Here we are in the second quarter, time for the Cs to go off! Yet, we are not staying where we need to be. These rappers are fighting hard.

Goodness gracious these refs suck! DWhite for three!!! Sam I Am for the deuce plus One! C's with an eight point lead.

☘️☘️☘️

Second half observations are these C's sometimes play with their food. I'm not saying these Raptors don't have talent but c'mon. We are are in a nip and tuck game here. Sam nails a three and we have the lead! Off a very wise pass from the young Jordan Walsh. Walsh and Sam with back 2 back threes! Still a very narrow lead for the C's.

As the third comes to close we are looking at a very tight finish.

🍀🍀🍀🍀

C's can't grab a board to save their lives out there. We have Queta ALLEY OOP! Queta continues to progress each time he's out there. The way this young man gives everything should be an example for all players. JB is cool as a cucumber at the line.

I'm gonna call it now tonight feels like a game that can go into extra time. Which when I looked at the point spread before the game I wouldn't have thought that at all. These Raptors are playing like they belong with the C's. C's should be frustrated by how close this game is.

Way too many breakdowns on defense here in the fourth. If they want to pull this out that needs to stop. At least offensively they are moving the ball at a championship level. DWhite has come alive here in the fourth. He's Mr 4th Quarter!

Al gets in the paint and scores! Chance for the And One! Love Al, he's clutch when you need him! He's a guy who throughout his career has been solid as a rock. No matter who he's played for that's his story. Glad he's ours and won a ring last season. JT with the drive and kick to Al! BANG! Three ball corner pocket!

Barrett pulls a shot out of his rear... The lead has shrunk to a measly two points. What an atrocious call on Al off that Poeltl miss. Garbage call as NBA refs absolutely suck. Great follow by White on his miss. I was always taught to follow my shot! DWhites dad must have taught him that.

It's crunch time and the game is tight, another crap call on the C's. Somehow we are down by one. Al with another three! C's with the lead!!! The game is going down to the wire. C's get called yet again despite Barrett traveling. C's down by two.. What a play by JB to Queta! Unselfish pass off the drive. JB with the BLOCK OF THE GAME! C's with the ball 22.5 seconds to go. That shot sucked... Love ya JT but c'mon man!

🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀

C's win the tip..  JB for three!!! Money! C's are trailing by one and really need a big play here. JT into the paint and scores! That was a championship play by the future MVP. He missed that shot earlier but he made up for I there. C's with a big offensive rebound on that possession! Followed up by Luke keeping the ball alive! Joe subs in the bigs here to close out the game. We have a one point game with under two minutes. Eesh why was Queta taking a three there?! JB for three!!! C's by two! Yet again the game is tied. C's have the ball with a chance to win this game. After a great defensive play! Thanks to a huge block from Queta! We are down to 20.2 seconds. This ball needs to hit either JB or JB with a possible kick out to DWhite. JT pulls Up for THREE!!! THATS GAME BABY!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
