What a ring ceremony for your World Champion Boston Celtics!

 Q1🏀

JT opens the game from way downtown!  That's how you open the season with a bang! I really need to see JT dominate this entire season. He's going to have a monster year for the C's! JB and Brunson get tangled up and the bad blood is already starting. Brunson better watch himself, JB is jacked and unafraid! If I'm taking bets, JB is my pick! Both Derrick and Al are up to their sharp shooting ways.
C's defense needs to tighten up right now! I do like how they are throwing multiple looks at Brunson. They aren't allowing him to get comfortable at all. This Celtics D is starting to swarm and make the Knicks look bad. Good timeout by Joe as he needs to refocus the team. So far the C's are moving the rock relatively well.
Off the timeout we get a beautiful play for THREE! Great play drawn up by our championship Coach Joe Mazzulla! I know I said this last season but I can't stand this Knicks team. C's pushing the lead up to double digits. Jrue Holiday with even more incredible defense! Steals the rock and scores on the other end. Jrue for three, man he can do everything! Boy do I love him! Just as I do Derrick White! Talk about a great start as the C's lead by 19.

Q2🍀☘️

C's need to find their groove here in the second. Love the pass from X to Al for the corner bomb! Bang! Now those two playing together could be very interesting to watch this season. JB with an excellent pass finding Jrue for three! I love watching this team pass the ball! I love the hustle from Sam who finds JB for three!

C's get beat on the defensive end and Coach calls the timeout. I love it! Joes ability as Coach grow each season. He frustrated me early on in his tenure, but I love him! I love the fact how he isn't afraid to profess his faith. I watched that special NBC Sports Boston did about him and it was wonderful. Derrick White is on freaking fire tonight! Have I said how much I love him! This Knicks team is a joke, come playoffs we will light them up!

C's need to buckle down as we finish up this quarter. With that said, on back to back plays the Jays get the ball into the paint. One of a deuce and another a foul. Finish strong and rip the heart out of this Knicks team. This C's D is looking damn good right now! What a block by Al! I love the C's exposing Brunson for the weak defender that he is. C's lead by 19 at the half.

Q3🏀🏀🏀

It has to be said, but the fact that Bronnie is getting in tonight's game is a joke. He doesn't belong in the NBA, talk about an organization bowing down to a player. It's pretty pathetic, but this is the same organization who is proud of a bubble title and that sham in season tournament crap. Fakers are a joke to sports.

JB for three! Cash! Money! DWhite for three!!! C's are lighting it up! Let's run em off the floor! Jrue for three!!! Not every game is going to go as smoothly from deep, but this team can win in multiple ways. Defensively this team can be elite, they showed that last season. I expect tonight and this season to be no different. It all starts on D, and as I always say defense wins championships! JB forces Brunson into a back court violation. He sucks and gets so much love. Unwarranted!

This ball movement tonight has been elite! C's are a very unselfish team. JB skunks Brunson on D and then dogs him on the offensive end! JT is absolutely destroying the Knicks. Talk about a statement... These C's are en Fuego! I can't get over how good the C's are passing this evening. Making the Knicks look like a high school JV team.

Brunson is the worst player I've seen, all he does is throw himself into the defender. I love seeing DWhite attack him, because he sucks on D. I don't understand why he gets so much love from the national media. He's probably the one player who can be exposed for the fraud he is on D.

JT looks like a man who has a chip on his shoulder. Showing the entire NBA why he should have never been benched in the Olympics. What a game for our NBA championship Jayson Tatum! C's lead by a boat load!

Q4🍀☘️🍀☘️

C's look like a championship team with something to prove. So far I haven't witnessed anything worrisome. Yes I know it's only game one but, I'm loving it! Did the Knicks leave their game at the airport? Cuz the C's are dominating them on every front tonight.

What I saw tonight was the strength of these C's. Defensively they looked good, but can definitely be better. I did like the way they switched on D and how they made Brunson uncomfortable. On offense it was like a four headed monster. Both Jays were their typical awesome selves and both Jrue and Derrick were smooth as a good whiskey. Al was Mr Reliable on both ends. I saw some good things from both Luke and X. Sam and PP were solid and overall this team came to play. C's Win comfortably!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! C Us Rise! Nineteen for Green! 🍀☘️

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet.
