NBA Finals Game 4

It's all led up to this moment...

Celtics fans have been waiting sixteen long years for this opportunity. Get the job done!

Perk picks the Mavs in pregame, to me it's a good sign for the C's. I need JB and JT to lead by example tonight. With that said it's going to take a total team effort tonight. Work hard on defense and move the ball on offense. Take it one play at a time. One quarter at a time and bring home the trophy. All I know is if these Celtics play a full 48 minutes this series is a wrap with all the fixings! Celtic Pride needs to be on full display tonight. The Jays both score early one tonight. Jrue with a nice defensive stop early on. I love Jrue Holiday! C's are in an early dogfight, but I believe if they go on a run the Mavs will turtle. C's have missed good looks so far, need those to fall for a victory. C's need to attack the cup and continue to force Luka and Kyrie to play D. C's trail early and need to get things going. Please lock in and do whatever it takes to win tonight's game. Need to finish this quarter off and cut into this lead. Joe says the last few minutes of each quarter can win or lose the game. Trailing after one and it sucks.

C's have their work cut out for them, not the start I expected. They allowed thirty four points and that's unexcusable. While only scoring twenty one. The offense hasn't been doing their job. Defensively they are allowing too many points in the point. It would be in their best interest to man up here in the second. They have not and the lead is up to eighteen. C's must trim this lead down before the end of the quarter. Get it down to a manageable number. Mavs shots are falling while the C's are cold. Come on guys get it going. Pritchard cant buy a bucket to save his life. C's just don't have it tonight.

That was one of the worst halves I've ever witnessed. C's looked very blah out there. No real ability to do anything on offense. Defensively they aren't playing with that effort. Dallas has been able to physically maul the C's most of the game. Figures it's a Scott Foster game... I've come across a former NBA players Twitter page and he before the game started said he knew tonight would go wrong. A former college player as well said it's "so much fun watching a rigged game". An honest disappointment tonight with what outcome will be there at the end of this game. C's are just off on all fronts. Maybe they figure they can come back to Boston and finish this off? They damn well better, this honestly sucks right now.

On to game 5 for me...

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
