ECF Game 1

At the half the C's and Pacers are tied, C's have way too many turnovers. Their defense wasn't up to par in that second quarter. It would be nice to see the C's move the ball as they did earlier in the game. Lock in on D in the third and good things will come. If the C's do that I'm confident they will win.

3rd Quarter

Al plays great D and blocks Siakims shot. That's the kind of D that needs to be played. Al is the first to score for the C's with a three. JB uses the euro step and scores. Off the steal JT scores and should have gotten the and one. These Celtics really need to lock in on D. Or it's not gonna end the way we want. Jrue with a big three early on. JT with a nice fall away. I like JTs willingness to get in the post and back guys up. He should be able to do this at will this entire series. I also feel Jrue has that same ability vs these Pacer guards. JBs D leads to a steal and he's going to the line. He may not have made the all defensive team but hes beast. JT with a big three!!! C's force a turnover on the other end! Great block by JB on Nesmith and saves it off Nesmiths body! Love that HUSTLE! JT to the cup and he's getting the and one! C's have finally applied themselves on D and we are making gains with our lead! Jrue from the corner BANG! C's take a timeout as they get a little lax out there. Awful finish to the third. C's with a lead...

4th Quarter

C's built a lead and let it slip away. I hope they can come thru in this quarter. We need some Derrick White magic here in the fourth. JT with a big fall away jumper. C's with great D and force a 24 second clock violation! JT off his miss and scores inside! Jrue with an incredible post move and scores. Excellent drive by Jrue! It's going to take a huge defensive effort to bring this one home. I'm not seeing that work being put in. Please for the love of basketball make a freaking play. Jrue off his own miss and scores! Great D by JT! Which forces the turnover as DWhite grabs it. DWhite another HUGE defensive play! C's find themselves trailing and I want to puke. They never do anything easy. JB with the biggest shot of his life to tie this game up. JT with his biggest defensive stop of his life.

Overtime

C's make all the big plays at the end of the game and win a huge game 1! JT JB Al DW and Jrue all made HUGE PLAYS! This team puts us thru so many emotions.

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! Banner 18!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
