What to do, down the stretch

As the C's have seen up the number overall seed, the question is what to do? Enjoy listening to Mike Gorman, before you know it he will be retired. He's given us fans so many memories and remarkable calls. Got It! Mike, you most definitely Got It! I'm gonna miss you, end of an era. First it was Tommy and now you.

1Q ☘️

This games means a ton for the Kings, C's should want to play spoilers. C's are scoreless early on as they try to get their flow. C's have gotten some excellent shots, but just can't nail em. The most important thing for me is STAY HEALTHY! Yet I want them to defend the parquet. You can't go back in time, but imagine if they didn't lose any games at the Garden to this point. Still 33-3 is damn impressive! Sam Hauser hasn't hit a shot yet, I believe he's gonna get it going. Despite the way people crap on the C's bench, they have down well. Come playoffs their minutes will be limited but impactful. The Super Six will absorb most of the playoff minutes. C's must be ready to lay everything on the line this post season. Banner 18 to me is a must! No excuses or exceptions, it's been way too long since we won 17. C's must continue to fee KP and let him go to work. Sabonis isn't going to stop him what so ever! PP finding Till for a corner bomb is a nice sight. More often than not, when PP enters good things happen. He's like a spark, of just basketball energy. I love the two man game with KP and JT, that's going to be a deadly weapon in the post season. Same with JB and KP. Expect to see a lot of the bench playing over these last few games. Luke Kornet with an incredible follow and slam! C's lead after the first.

2Q 🏀 🏀

Earlier this evening the pre game spoke about who you would prefer to see the C's play in round one. Personally I don't care, I expect the C's to handle their business. The only team beating the C's in the playoffs is... Themselves. Loving Luke's defense right now. No easy shots as he stuffs Lyles. He blocked another shot for good measure! PP just made the Kings defense look like a JV team. With the dribble he went from the three point line to the basket. Anyone else get chills when that commercial comes on with Larry Joe Bird. Talking about dedicating his life to basketball and the Boston Celtics. Jrue Holiday has quite the step back three, and shows off his incredible balance. Need take sure he's here for the next few seasons. Wyc get out the check book! For Derrick White as well! This Kings team looks gassed and defeated. It would be a shame for them to lose hold on the eight seed. C's must keep their double digit lead as they enter halftime. C's have lost what was a comfortable lead.

3Q ☘️ 🍀 ☘️

Not sure what the C's were doing with that zone, but that's where the lead was lost. For certain teams it may work, but the Kings took advantage of it. I'm curious to see who they would use it against in the playoffs. Wishing we could just fast forward thru the rest of the regular season and get to the playoffs. I want to see how the play ins shake up and then the matchups. I feel the East is the Celtics, everyone else is just looking to be runner up. Out West is anyone's guess. Personally I see a Wolves Nuggets final, flip a coin as to who takes it. I can't get to far ahead, so let's see how the third shakes out. Sam gets a corner three, and let's hope this gets him going. It only takes one, to go on a run! Al takes on the challenge of guarding and shutting down Sabonis. Al doesn't seem to age at all! He should be fresh and ready to roll this post season. C's have come out and built their lead up a bit, with a nice 9-0 run! Kings are making their own run and cut into the lead. JT gets the rock and slams it home! C's gotta close this third out with a bang! C's are losing the edge in second chance points which I don't like at all. Jrue Holiday on defense is just a menace, he knows how to position his body as a weapon. He really has some incredible strength. I realize the NBA wants offense, but when a guy like Holiday shuts down other players it's so sweet. Just like an ice cream sundae on a summer night. C's lead after the third!

4Q 🏀 🏀 🏀 🏀

C's look to close out the Kings here in the fourth. We are also getting closer to the UConn Huskies vs Caitlyn Clark in the Final Four. Once again Geno has his team in the mix for a National Title. Tomorrow night we see the men's Final Four tipoff. Cinderella aka the Wolfpack take on Purdue. While juggernaut UConn takes on Bama. Expect to see two excellent games. I'm pulling for DJ Burns Jr! Payton Pritchard has to be one of my favorites on this Celtics team. Actually since he was drafted by the C's! The dude just gets better every year, and he's just a likable guy. Svi with an incredible tip in! Came out of the corner and made some magic! C's look to deep in the bench here to close things out... PP is out here cooking up the Kings. Talking Master Chef type cuisine!

Till for the win... Got it!

Celtic Pride! Bleed Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
