I just like the move. The Boston Celtics have seen enough positive things from Neemias Queta that they have signed him to a standard contract. The 7', 245-lb. center will be eligible to participate in the upcoming playoffs, and he may see a little action if the injury bug hits Horford, Porzingis or Kornet.
But Queta will basically be a role player - using his size and strength to score down low - take down boards - and defend the rim. His per-36-minutes stats with Boston this season (14.5 PPG, 13.0 RPG, 1.3 SPG, 1.8 BPG) might indicate what value he could supply with more floor time and seasoning.

He is still raw, but kept improving throughout the season. I like Brad Stevens' move. And I like this kid.
