Home Sweet Home

The C's are back home and once again on National TV. Which means we won't start on time. Friday we will be on ESPN and Sunday we are the primetime ABC game. Tonight we welcome the Sixers to the Garden and I expect them to play above their heads. Even if they do that the C's still have enough to beat them.

1Q ☘️

C's must protect the parquet tonight vs the Sixers. C's win the tip and we are off! JT posts up Maxey and makes him pay. JT should own the paint tonight, sixers have no answer out there. C's are missing too many easy shots early on. Obre is such a tool... Flopping and making noises early on. C's are attacking the paint tonight, and should be able to all game. There's no lumbering Embid out there clogging the paint. Did anyone see the aggression in which JB took playing D on Heild, it forced him to pass the rock. Which turned into a very poor shot. When the C's amp up there D these Sixers have no answers. Offensively the C's have been moving the ball really well. Currently they are on a 10-0 run! Timeout Sixers... Derrick White is out here blocking everything in site! I love how he loves defense! Defense wins championships and this team gets that! C's need to push this lead here in the first. Al gets inside and continues the C's dominance in the paint. All tied up after one...

2Q 🍀☘️

Maxey carries the ball on every possession, not to mention how he flops into his defenders. His game is garbage, and I don't like it! Refs are sticking it to the C's right now. The entire team flops like dead fish. That's what you get when you have Kyle Lowry on your roster. C's better wake up and push the pace on offense. Kudos to the NBA for keeping the Sixers in the game.  C's need to stop with these turnovers. You aren't gonna win like that! We have a timeout and I hope these guys get it going, need to build a lead going into the half. C's trail and I'm starting to get sick. Joe calls the timeout and they better tighten things up. JB is taking care of business right now. C's finally getting around to playing better D. Time to keep putting the pressure on the Sixers.

3Q ☘️☘️☘️

The C's need to come out and have an epic third. If the refs and flopping Maxey don't screw us. C's will have hopefully made their adjustments and are ready to blow the Sixers off the floor. Limit the turnovers, play D and move the rock on offense. C's are bringing the energy here in the third! That's what I'm talking about, Let's Go C's! C's coaching staff has been making the right adjustments at half and these C's have been playing better in the third overall lately. KP with a MONSTER TWO HANDED JAM! A huge difference from this year is the halftime adjustments. Lasts year's team didn't respond as well. C's just never get any love or respect from the refs. I will say this I'm extremely impressed by the Celtics D in this quarter. C's lead after the third. Close it out in the fourth.

4Q 🍀🍀🍀🍀

The C's will need to play exceptional basketball and close this one out. Tatum needs to lead this group that's out here right now. Al dives on the floor trying to save the rock. That's a Tommy Point! JT pushes back on the Sixers and hits an And One. C's need to wake up if they want to win this one. Great move and shot by Jrue right there, should have been an And One. Time for a close out run to seal this game. For all those who knock Coach Joe, C's were only up by 2 and he called a timeout and the C's went on quite a run to squash these Sixers. JT with some exclamation points DUNKS! JB kisses em goodbye with a three and the C's win!

Celtic Pride! Bleed Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
