Payback...

Indiana welcomes the Celtics back to where they won an Ist game. When I think of Indiana I think of Larry Joe Bird and the movie Hoosiers. Jimmy Chitwood nailing that shot to win the title. Kid was nails! Gene Hackman as the hard nosed Coach, and a guy close to my heart Shooter. Personally our next two games are vs the Pacers and I hope we pay them back for their win vs us.

1st Q 🏀

C's must attack the paint tonight. JB rams it home for the first points of the game. Followed up by KP jamming it home, keep it going guys! C's better protect the glass tonight. KPs D has been elite as he swats away Nesmiths weak shot. So far the Celtics have attacked the paint and can do so all damn game. The more they dominate inside the better chance they have to win. Indiana plays no D and we need to expose them. So far the C's D has frustrated the Pacers. C's are finally settling in on the offensive end. Despite getting poked in the eye KP is back in the game. Just like that he's in the locker room...  This Indy court and their jerseys are U G L Y. The C's seem to be controlling the pace and not letting the Pacers get off to the races. C's lead after one.

2nd Q 🏀🏀

As we enter the second quarter let's hope they continue with their elite D. I love the way PP uses his body to score inside. PP for three off Kornet saving us an extra possession! Tommy point baby! C's better attack the paint the entire game and not let up! JT just beast moded Hield and should have gotten the And One! He should be able to dominate anyone the Pacers throw at him. Tatum and Brown are both absolutely better than anyone the Pacers can have guard them. C's should be up by more... Let's hope they push this lead to double digits before the half. C's lead at the half.

3rd Q 🏀🏀🏀

C's better get their act together, the lead is down to six. They can't afford to have a bad third tonight. Sam Hauser is leading in points in this third quarter. Al Horford just cooked Buddy in the paint. The Celtics need to go on a run and put this Pacers to bed. JT is on a mission tonight! No one can guard him tonight. No one!!! He should be able to continue to score at will tonight. He's the best player on the court and there's no doubt about it. C's are getting screwed by the refs tonight. Nesmith is a dirty player and he's really annoying me tonight. Out here throwing his body into every one and he's going to hurt another Celtics player. C's lead after the third. This game should not be this close.

4th Q 🏀🏀🏀🏀

C's off to a good start in the fourth, Tatum is still hot! Indiana takes the timeout and let's hope the Cs are still locked in. OB is EARNING PLENTY OF TOMMY POINTS! JT hits ANOTHER BIG BASKET! JT is on FIRE! C's straight up shower these Pacers who the BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE IS! TAKE THAT IST GARBAGE AND FORGET ABOUT IT! C's win!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet.
