C's welcome the annoying Pacers

C's welcome a Pacers team that has been an annoyance all season long. Personally I'd love to see the C's smack em around tonight. There's an arrogance to these Pacers that rubs me the wrong way. IST runner ups what a freaking joke!

1Q 🏀

KP is back! He looks good and healthy and scores the first deuce of the game. JT posting up early is a great sign, he should do it all game. Pacers have no one who can stop him on D. JB gets inside with ease, this Pacers defense has no post presence. C's should and better dominate the paint tonight. Love seeing Jrue take on the challenge of guarding overrated Siakim. C's ball movement has been as sweet as mamas apple pie tonight. Man oh man could my mama bake an apple pie. The Celtics must continue to attack the paint, the Pacers have no answers down low. Myles Turner is not a rim protector, for a big he's delicate and soft. DWhite is that man as he drives gets hit and scores. No call but he keeps balling! The way he came thru in the clutch last night was beautiful. C's better protect themselves because out of control Nesmith is in. He is an out of control player who won't care if he hurts you. Sometimes you need to tame that recklessness. Pacers are a very gifted offensive team but they can't play defense to save themselves. Has anyone noticed how good a rebounder PP is. I love seeing guards bang on the boards. C's lead after one.

2Q 🏀🏀

The C's should focus on building up this lead and continuing to attack the paint. Queta is in and swatting shots out the gym! The pride of Portugal is here to play! Man oh man, Jrue with the tweener jumper he's like a smooth whiskey after a long day at work. Little by little we see more of his offensive arsenal. There's not a ton of flash but it's just PURE basketball! He's been such a huge upgrade over Marcus Smart. I loved Marcus when he was here, but Jrue is miles better. This backcourt of Jrue and Derrick are incredible. Don't care what any other team is bringing to the table, this duo is my ride or die in any game. C's are rolling the Pacers right now. Pacers with a minor run, but the C's have pushed the lead back up near 20. C's lead at the half.

3Q 🏀🏀🏀

The goal needs to be controlling the boards, attacking the paint and playing D! The C's must not get complacent due to the success they had in the first half. Pacers are already cutting the lead down to size. KP just posterized Myles no defense Turner. In a flash the Pacers have cut this lead to three. C's have done nothing in this third. Except for losing their sizable lead. Joe takes a timeout and I hope this team listens to him. Love how KP is keeping the ball alive on the glass. Earned himself some Tommy Points there. Jrue with epic D on Siakim. C's have to love what they get out of Queta. That kid works hard and leaves it on the floor. The way Scal drools over other teams players makes me sick. Tommy is rolling over in his grave because of this. The C's have a slim lead.

4Q 🏀🏀🏀🏀

JB should own whoever is guarding him. Queta off the tip JAMS IT HOME! Love this kid! Queta deserves the Tommy award for tonight's game in my opinion. JB playing Superman as he posts up the weak defender. In these close games in the fourth by Jays need to post up and work inside the three point line. I'd also like to see Jrue get in deep and post up. JT is still continuing his hot streak. Now is the time for the C's to show they can execute in the fourth quarter. JT has played quite a quality game tonight. Too many threes per usual tonight. I can't stand the three point shot and how it's used in today's game. I can't change it but it sucks. C's are limping to the finish. JT with a CLUTCH BLOCK TO SEAL THE GAME.

Celtic Pride! Bleed Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
